WELCOME TO SPEARHEADZ! This casual gaming series is going to explore Warhammer's new format of fixed-list casual gaming. This wide-onramp new system for playing Games Workshop's cosmic-fantasy wargame is perfect for the kitchen-table game crowd and is perfectly suited for where I'm at with gaming.
The Fire and Jade book in the new Skaventide boxed set has the complete game along with all the armies for this format; so we're going to dig into that all week long!

The scale of this game, and its objective markers, give it a real Warmachine feel; but without the gotcha aspect of Warcaster killing to win the game. A Chaos Lord, getting confused about where he is, is very on brand.

I know what you mean, I keep looking at vanguards, like I don't like Seraphon enough to do a whole army, but I could definitely paint a box and love it, so many good Spearheads out there

Could the StD 5 model unit that was destroyed in the first round have been redeployed as reinforcements in the second turn of round 1 during Ash's movement phase?

Nope, Chaos Warrior units are not recyclable in the Slaves to Darkness spearhead. None of the units are, in either of these spearheads, in fact.

@@toferkrz946 Ah, that's tough as it seems almost all 5 unit infantry models in Spearhead can that I've seen.

@@PickleTheHutt It's done on a warscroll by warscroll basis. A specific Spearhead warscroll will have a red 'recycle' symbol or not. None of the units featured in the video have that tag, so none of them can come back. I'm guessing that's because both of these Spearheads come with above average number of units, and all of those units are elite, multi-wound models with high saves.

They CAN however be brought back with the Reinforcements Battle Tactic, which you can cycle to get every game.

So I have a question Ash. Where are all the statistics for the different spearheads? Are they on the book? Are they online?
