This was a terrible story. If Ultron views all organic life to be imperfect he would never want to combine with the zombies because that itself is an admission that he is imperfect himself. The zombie story does not make sense because Wolverine should be immune to becoming a zombie (anyone with a healing factor).

This is the Magneto from a different universe. If you read marvel zombies 3 or 4, you'll learn that Ant Man was teleported into another universe where he utilized Dr.Xavier to track down all humans on earth. So we could assume that he also utilized this Magneto as well.

If you know your Marvel, Wolverines Skeleton was the only one left after being killed by a omega Sentinel in Days of future past, so they could have found it in the domain of Dofp. But then, I don't know how the story of Years of future past Went. Maybe he is still alive there!
