I did a bit of research and it turns out that Raven Tharic is related to Inioch, and his sons were in previous age of wonders game. I have not played through both of the new story realms yet, so I'm not sure if that is explored more there. If it is not, I would love to hear all of your theories on how the descendants of Inioch's cousin ended up in Duatha :)

Actually, there is one more sub-event afterward - Fey survivors come to serve you and can provide a high level unit - for me it was a transmuter, some knowledge and something else. Had the Summer Scourge, so I guess it can vary

Oh also the different seasons have different bonuses when you grab the relic. I did the spring one and when i grabbed the relic it gave like 50 imperium per turn

Oh wow, yeah, I was expecting them to give the same bonus. but i think artic is associated more with research, so that makes sense

Yes, it is. It comes online quite late, but it has lots of utility!

I think that 5th spell icon belongs to a siege project that you get along with the spell.

I really like the seasons. It was a cool mid game event that could sow chaos in the relm. Do you slay the really tuff army and get the first step of rewards or do you just take the mana and release the terror back into the world with hopes the rng has them attack your enemy?

I think in a competitive mp, sending it after the strongest player is probably the most interesting/fun thing you can do. Fighting them off for 10-20 turns in the mid/late game just isnt feasible in a competitive mp.

I didnt get the spell when I did mine or I just missed it. It gave me a prompt asking if I wanted to transform one of my heroes and I did. Nothing appeared in my spellbook. Interestingly enough, whenever I destroy an infestation with the stack that had a scourge, there would be a loud red explosion effect around the stack on the world map and nothing else.

I think I recall getting that option, and it says something like: smash the relic, end the crisis, transform one heroes once. But if you take the relic, then you have to fight them some more. After that if you beat them for a second invasion then i think you get the spell. I believe I talk about it in the last 3 minutes of this video

@@WinSlayaGaming Yeah. I just remembered after typing that, that i told them to go bother someone else. That explains why I didnt do the final battle.

Is the 5th icon the realm trait icon? Or are those all gold colored?

I did look at the realm trait, and it did not look quite like those icons
