This man is an Igor impersonator. They figured it's BC so no one would no the difference. For those die hard fans they had a character on Stampede in Calgary called Dan Krofat in the 70s. Twenty years later Stu Hart used the name again Dan Krofat. Totally different guy.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh….that explains it !! He sure didn’t look like the same Igor that wrestled in the northeast United States in the 70’s !! 🤭

I had the pleasure of having dinner with Moose Morowski about 10 years ago. I drilled him for stories of his old wrestling days, and boy did he have great stories and he loved sharing them with a true wrestling fan. He wrestled everyone in his time, Andre the Giant, a young Bret Hart ,alot of huge stars, especially while in Japan. He told people I was his friend after that, and I was proud. of it.

This, as others have mentioned, is Rick Ferrara, and not the original Mighty Igor. Ferrara worked as Igor Putski for Bill Watts' promotion in the early '70s in a tag team with a young Ivan Putski. The real Mighty Igor worked mostly for the Tunneys in Toronto and for The Sheik in Detroit, as well as for the IWA in the South. Moose Morowski worked in WWWF in the early '70s as Mike ("Moose") Monroe, not to be confused with late '70s/early '80s WWF jobber Frank ("Moose") Munro.

This is definitely not Dick Garza. Dick was my my mom's uncle up in Detroit. He passed away a few years ago.

To be clear, this is not just a DIFFERENT Mighty Igor, it's a guy trying to trick people into thinking he's the ORIGINAL Mighty Igor. That stinks.

rare to see Moose get softened up in the ring gut2gut action !

@elc1960 You have some misinformation. First Frank The Moose and Mike The Moose Monroe are one in the same. Moose Morowski is a complete different man. Morowski never wrestled in the WWWF. He was a mainstay in the Amarillo Territory for the Funks. Also did allot of wrestling in Europe and Canada.

If this isn't the Mighty Igor, then who is this man?

I don’t recognize him from any territory after this so your guess is as good as mine? It sure isn’t the original that’s for sure!! 🤥

who is the man comes up into the ring and helped Igor ? what's his name?

This is from Al Tomko's third rate promotion in Vancouver. Igor is nobody you ever heard of and not Rick Ferrera.This promotion killed wrestling completely in Vancouver, a once thriving wrestling center.
@andrebeck14444 жыл бұрын
Vancouver's All-Star Wrestling was not a 3rd rate operation. It was 1st rate long before Al Tomko arrived from Winnipeg. What Tomko turned ASW into during the 80's was the once the same thriving promotion during the 60's and 70's when Sandor Kovacs and Gene Kiniski were in charge.
@BaronTurco4 жыл бұрын
@@andrebeck1444 I know all about professional wrestling history from the 1950s until today. Vancouver was definitely a first rate promotion until Tomko showed up. Then the rest was a steady, downhill fall with Tomko in charge.
@Hollywoodin2001b Жыл бұрын
I remember the original Igor in the 60s. The time he wrestled Dr. X in Winnipeg was the most excited I ever was. Vancouver's ASW was never on par with the top promotions.
@geoffreygilmer267 ай бұрын
@@BaronTurcothe biggest problem was Tomko making himself the top guy. No one was allowed to beat him. The big names all left and fizzled into nothingness.

This Mighty Igor is great. A short bodybuilder wrestler. He would have been great as Ivan Putski's partner.
