Thank you. I like when you add music. This music was a bit “80’s cop driving off into the night about to go rogue to save my partner” vibes. 😎

I got a similar vibe, like an action movie where they are planning on stealing a great treasure, and it actually seemed to fit

@@SimplyAlwaysAwakeAs a sound creative myself, it was a little loud/distracting to me. My apparent 2 cents

Angelo, I've got an idea for a topic. maybe others are interested too and can give me a thumbs up. Here it is: our idea of ourselves is largely constructed through social interaction in a kind of social hall of mirrors. I feel that even when alone we often continue this "social interaction" (like a kind of internal role play) with ourselves. Why? And how, in daily life, can we become aware of this social hypnosis that we exert over each other and still function? It's sort of a "presence-killer".

Yeah I find it “easier” to find deep presence/aliveness when alone. I collapse out of it with others - (especially when I need to speak)

Yes. It has been increasingly difficult to maintain relationships. Social interaction feels inauthentic and painful...binding you in a sense of indentity and less in the body because of the nature of these exhanges. It's easier to be in an expansive state in solitude.

You asked why. As children, we could not NOT mimic others and absorb all the conditioning . Being-aware is what to 'do' about it. You're on your way.

This is exactly what i was hoping Angelo could speak about. It feels like the price for being an adult is to be pulled into the world of fixations of those around you on a daily basis that then trigger your own. Angelo has said themes appear with many people asking the same questions. The videos have been so on point for me lately and it seems many feel the same.

Boy howdy do I love the mystery. Its such a fun game. Its as if the world is so ultimately arbitrary, and yet the all penetrating essence is so mundane and profound. Truly a cosmic joke. There's no real desire for all beings to be at peace, as its seen that there is no being or state to be at peace, and yet, the heart is full of compassion for all beings. May all beings be at ease!!

Without a willingness to be uncomfortable none of this seems to be possible. The lens cannot be set aside if fear of suffering is dominant.

Why is experience a memory?

Hello Angelo, thank you for your videos! I just wanted to ask this: the way I would describe my experience is like I feel these energetic impulses of agency (usually an urge to react and control a situation/outcome in some way), but it doesn't feel like I am identifying with them. What I mean is, it literally feels like an impulse that is arising on it's own spontaneously, due to conditioning or whatever (doesn't really matter, it feels like it is just what this body-mind does automatically), but I am aware of it happening and I observe it naturally, without an effort, it is just what I happen to do nowadays. However, the feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations are sometimes so strong that it is really hard not reacting. And again, it is experienced kind of energetically, there's some energetic quality to the whole experience, I can't describe it well, impulses seems like a good word for it. Usually I would get restless and if I don't react I start getting scared and even panicky. And I feel it is like an algorithm that the body follows. What do you thing would be helpful, besides just sitting with it ;) Maybe that's all what's needed, but I just wanted to ask anyway :)

Sounds like you are in a good place. Perhaps work with the reactivity as described in the equanimity playlist. It can definitely be softened and settled :)

I don't see the free will, there's only conditioned movement and automatic responses. But, I do cling to free will and I will, cause why not and it doesn't really matter if there is free will or not.

You don’t see free will but you cling to it?
@Ballsmasher69420
@Ballsmasher69420 8 ай бұрын
@@Mus4shi15 yeah, to the belief in it, it's not fully clear to me that there's no free will for the belief to fall, but I saw how the body operates and it seemed automatic. So based on what I saw I believe in the lack of free will, but I cling to the belief in free will, both are beliefs and I don't really need to pay attention to any of them, just live

I once felt that way about free will also, but then I realized I could say the same thing about 🎅 Santa Claus. I could cling to that belief in Santa because why not 😂. But eventually I decided it was better to see Reality than cling to comforting beliefs, so I let go of my belief in free will and paradoxically felt more free.
