You have to remember that Phase Connect hosts Pipkin Pippa, Tenma, Lumi, and they are all some form of genuine psychopath, so for somebody to go beyond them is pretty fucking hard. Phase is far more lax than the big two.

She broke her contract via using a payment method (Using a different donation application, getting money from fans directly directly via discord, etc.) that bypassed their revenue split without informing the company. At least thats what I've heard of.

Most don't even let you come into the company with an existing model in the first place as it is common practice to fill the role of a model made for the company with the existing talent, hence why most require prior Vtubing experience.

I heard Phase bought the Yuri character from Cyberlive (her original vtubing company). because she was transfered two weeks after becoming Indie (after leaving cyberlive). But its mostly hear say from other youtube comments.
