Bruh I remember when the homie played this song at the skate park. It hyped me up so much that I tried 360 flipping an 11 stair set and broke my ankle.

Same. I can't even count how many times I saw Agent Orange. Small clubs like the Cathay de Grande, or the Anti Club. Going to see them at the Olympic Aud, or Fenders... Perkins Palace. Such a life we had back then.

Agent Orange was the first punk band of any kind from outside of Hawaii to play in Hawaii. December 1982 at the 3D club in Waikiki. Somehow our friend Jonee Kop knew the singer/guitar player Mike. We all went skateboarding with Mike at our local spot Wallos. He said he would put us on the guest list for the first show. But then the club wanted IDs for people on the guest list. We were only 17 years old, and at that time you had to be 18 to drink and go to clubs. Mike said don't worry, just show up. The night of the show Mike and the drummer Scott (?) opened a side door and let us sneak in. Great show

I haven't heard this song in probably 17 years since I played Tony Hawk.. Then was randomly singing BFS to myself an thought the lyrics "she likes Godsmack and I like Agent Orange" threw Godsmack in to give it a listen, then just clicked the first thing I saw about AO.. Heard the intro chords and Immediately knew the words again. Genuine crazy feeling

Im 30 years old and i still skateboard. Not everyday like I used to, but I still jam out. Not as big and hard as i used to either, one broken foot and 2 surgeries later makes things interesting. My knees also hate me a lot. Thats nothing that some beer and girls didnt fix though. I used to be a go big or go home kinda kid and now I have to try and do technical shit. Still fun, this song still gets blared from my stereo driving from spot to spot. Getting older sucks but my skateboard is my BFF.

Anyone else here because these guys claimed The Offspring stole the famous riff in Come Out and Play from this song? I have no particular love for The Offspring and I was fully prepared to side with Agent Orange, but after hearing BloodStains, it's pretty obvious such a claim is ridiculous. There's a faint similarity between the solo here and the riff in Come Out and Play, but no way would any jury ever agree with a claim of copyright infringement. Maybe that's why Agent Orange never actually sued The Offspring. This is a great song though.

Joey Rollins Silly me, wanting to have a meaningful discussion in the comments section of a KZbin video. Joey, since you're the only one who bothered to write a remotely coherent response, I'll reply to you. Do you mean the solo towards the end? Like I said, there is a noticeable similarity between the solo and the riff in Come Out and Play, but would you really claim that it is anywhere near identical?

TSOL and Agent Orange were very influential on Noodles of the Offspring's guitar stylings. There are similarities on the lead and "Come out and play" but I don't think it's a direct total rip off. Just my opinion. Noodle's should get Mike Palm some free guitars and amps sponsorships for the inspirations though.

Agreed, but Green Day is my gateway band. They motivated me to take up music, in '94 and look to harder bands such as this, The Clash and Bad Brains.

You're not the only one who thinks that. While they're good, they're not great either. Very overrated in my book.

+Barry Kuz Nah, Minor Threat is not overrated at all. They formed an entire movement basically, and their music is still pretty influential. I'll admit though, I am biased. I grew up around the D.C. Metropolitan area and did experience a lot of Hardcore from it, but I would say that it is hard to really judge if you haven't actually experienced them in person.

+Daniel Medina that band started a counter culture to the counter culture. Ian lyrics are simplistic and brilliant, all written before the age of 20. Not to mention all the bands that they inspired, released and brought attention to, all the while being key factors to the creation of the DC punk scene, which wouldn't have even had a venue to play at or see out of town acts without minor threat. All the while living the DIY lifestyle to the fullest inspiring others to do the same. Overrated isn't exactly the term I would use.

I saw Agent Orange at the old Berkely Square in '95 or '96. Anyway they were awesome! The lead singer even breathed fire ala Gene Simmons!

First heard this when I rode Bmx in the mid 90's, saw them in 1999 at Jerry's pizza. Bands like this made me focus more on my drumming and music scene rather than the alternative skate/bmx scene. I never looked back. :)

@harleyridinusmcbrat -said! And on that note, this song speaks to me because it's got that outsider subject matter. Oh yeah, and it's full of all out no frills badassery. Good video too. I live in Nor-Cal but am enamored with the Key Club and all the acts they get down there.
