I grew up in the “suburbs” as well, but I didn’t live in the suburbs. There’s a whole other life in the suburbs then just living good with a good job and good schools. Some of us kids that lived in the suburbs lived a somewhat hood life, and I can genuinely relate to some of these rappers. Yea, I grew up in the suburbs and was raised well by my parents, but we STRUGGLED. Poverty is the number #1 relatability that we have with rappers. Poverty, drugs, and quick money. That’s how some of the suburb kids are hood.

To be honest, you should consider the possibility that it’s all a hoax. But that theory of mines stems from the fact that i truly don’t believe someone is stupid enough to act this way on their own accord when the consequences and lose/gain ratios are what they are. I want to believe this is all some plot involving the NBA’s owners just stem some activity or action into the sport so that it raises its value and circulation of the franchise (NBA); which will in return obviously bring them more wealth.
