ULP is actually one of the characters that holds up the entire GTA IV story. It wouldn’t make sense for Niko to go around killing that much in Liberty City, making drug deals for other people, and not have the feds on his back. So ULP comes in and he’s got some leverage on Niko, making him do the dirty work but keeping him clean in return, and trying to find that special someone for him. Some good writing right there.

I’m sure that they used to work with each other. It makes sense that ULP was mentored by Toreno and was his friend. ULP does honor his word to Niko like Toreno does when CJ has done his missions for him. However the difference there is that ULP is too bureaucratic and keeps his loyalty to the agency while Toreno have a strong sense of patriotism that such false flag terror attacks would be too far for him to bear in mind.

I think the "canon" ending is that he didn't die in the V single player mission and continued on into MP, cos it's pretty much canon that after The Ill Gotten Gains pt2 update the online goes from 2013-2017 which would mean Agent ULP would have to have survived the whole single player portion of the game

well in one of the import/export missions agent 14 mentions that it was 2017 and in that very same mission you rescue a bunch of bank robbers from the union depository which has never been robbed before at the time of V's story mode. Plus seeing as the last vehicles added into single player was the vehicles from ill gotten gains pt2 logically speaking it makes sense that that would be at the end of the story mode (aka 2013) and every update after that fills up the timeline between 2013 and 2018 (now)

Look, guys! The writing in GTA IV is better and far superior than in GTA V, for a lot of reasons: 1- In GTA IV, before the DLCs came out, we only had one protagonist with a shady background, Niko. In GTA V, they had to split the story between 3 protagonists, to give the three different perspectives they wanted us players to have. In results, the story became a little shallow portrayed by 3 protagonists, than by only 1. 2- GTA V was meant to be the "afterparty" of GTA IV, because of it's huge jump and improvements over previous installments, but, nonetheless, GTA V went even further in a lot of aspects. GTA V was commemorative in various ways and references, this being from the character's cameos all the way to the game's location, California, the perfect inviroment for 'a blasting party', opposite of New York. 3- It was a first in many things, from mechanics to missions, including Three Leaf Clover, which gave GTA V's central point. 2 games. Two different atmospheres. Comparisons are inevitable, but not entirely fair.

V on another hand? One minute it tries to be serious and meaningful, another an utter opposite. It's like Marvel movie, throwing jokes left and right at earnest moments which simply comes out as off. Characters meanwhile are one of the weakest in the series. Antagonists are a joke to those of San Andreas and IV. Franklin is a flatboard, Trevor is more a caricature given how he constantly flips, which leaves Michael with family so unlikable that weights his entire character down far more that it should. Support casts? Lamar basically the only one who's come to mind years later, and that's due to great voice actor performance. So yeah, for GTA standards, V is a mess and IV is great.

Most of the side characters are weak. The endings don't work. The gameplay mechanics are garbage. In terms of consistency? Lol what consistency? You have this story that's supposed to be dark, meanwhile you have characters like Brucie who acts like he's in an hyperactive teenage comedy and you have Bernie Crane, who just a caricature/stereotype of a gay person. Yeah, GTA 5 has a balance of serious and funny moments just like previous GTA games. It's not trying to be anything it's not. At least it's more in line with earlier GTA games. That Marvel comparison is stupid Also, the supporting cast of GTA 4 isn't that great. V is way better. Franklin isn't just a flat board. It's obvious you didn't pay attention to the game. Trevor isnt that much of a caricature and Michael may not be likeable but that's the fucking point. They try to make Niko likeable and yet you can make him gun down a shitload of innocent civilians. It's just jarring. At least GTA V characters aren't painted as these good heroes. So yeah, 4 is a mess and stupidly overrated. 5 isn't perfect but at least it's better than 4.

It was creepy. I honestly feel sorry for those drones. Left in there to whittle down for the last five years because it was too expensive to remove them. Just sat there, near fried and only left on their automatic systems, breathing, twitching. Unlike the Clones, they are hardwired in the Clifford System, and that means the poor Juggernauts are sat in their suits of wires and organs, probably suffering.

He died at some point and ULP has had a new voice actor since he returned in GTA Online's Doomsday Heist DLC in 2017. He recently returned again to give us 6 contact missions where you stop the Duggan family from rigging gas and oil prices to their own favor, making them extremely expensive for everyone else. At the end of this new mission strand from ULP, you discover that the Duggans were using the last bit of Avon Hertz's Cliffford AI code that was still left wide open and totally usable. You go to the nuclear silo base inside Mount Chiliad in Blaine County, San Andreas to get rid of the remaining bit of Cliffford code for good. (atleast for now) There are several differences in ULP's dialogue during the phone calls in the missions, depending on if you have completed all the three Doomsday Heist Acts and the Diamond Casino Heist before you do the new ULP missions.

I am on a binge of GTA IV characters in GTA V and seeing how they ruined them... I am really happy that Niko's voice actor is gone and he won't be ruined like Agent ULP or Johnny, Packie, Brucie. In my head canon they never appeared in Los Santos. Also thank you to that person who saved 3d universe characters from being ruined by coming up with the "HD universe" idea.

Well for the GTA SA cast we are pretty sure about some characters fates: - Sweet most likely got killed during one of his gang wars with the Ballas or Vagos. Which is why Grove doesn’t exist anymore in GTA V and Ballas took over the block. - Kendl and Caesar probably moved away to San Fierro as they realized how awful things got in LS and probably after knowing about Sweet’s death. -Truth probably also stayed mostly fine getting his “inner peace” and happily gaining money from his weed and other drug businesses he had besides getting high The only one that’s fate is mysterious is CJs itself. There’s still speculation between the community that he either was killed or he moved to be a major player working along larger organizations like the Triads and their casino in Las Venturas or the Rap music business managing Madd Dogg.
