FIX "Encoding Overloaded" Error in OBS!

I’ve been streaming with my pc for like 2 years now with obs and it’s giving me this now after a few updates to obs, highly doubt my pc can’t handle it

im having the same issue. I even built a more powerful pc and streamed on it completely fine until recently it started getting encoder overload errors

@@Reckage121 SAME ISSUE HERE? it might be the latest OBS update? i have been streaming for months without any issues and now i have to downscale all the time since i get the encoder overload even tho MY CPU and GPU are not even at half workload.

I've recommended streams at 3,500k 720p 60 for Twitch. Not everyone has 1080p downloads, maybe with Twitches multistreaming this will change.

Gonna try tuning at Ultra Low Latency and lower output from 1920x1080 to 1536x864. Fingers crossed that it helps! I'll update if I notice a difference. Thanks for the video.

i have been streaming for MONTHS at my native resolution (1080p) without any issues. since a couple of weeks ago i get encoder overload and the whole stream starts to lag my whole PC and my only way to get rid of that is to just downscale to 720p. i checked my PC and my CPU and GPU are nowhere near the bottleneck point and also i have 32gb ram so i have no idea what might be causing all of this.

​@@Agenterino I have a Ryzen 5 5600g and my GPU is an rx6600. the problem starts by just starting to stream or to record so i cant even begin to play any game XD. i did that thing that obs has that lets you analyze a log so i changed some stuff there (like getting rid of some unnecesary browser or game scenes)and i changed some settings. ill check tonight when i stream and see how this goes but i hope it works since as i said my GPU and CPU dont even reach 50% While i get the "encoder overload" error on OBS.

yeah gotta love when my 3060ti + 13600k gets a encoding overload on fortnite performance mode easily reaching 300+ fps while recording, and then out of no where only this month does it suddenly start making my game stutter 🔥

So i have the issue with i stream to kick i can play MWIII no issue but if i stream to twitch then i physically cant play MWIII even at 720p 30fps..

For everyone : I downgraded to OBS version : 28.1.1. Works perfectly.
