Agent Nesty at your service! The Election of Putin... Oh! I mean the Election of the President of the Russian Federation is taking place right now! Since we vote once every 6 years, I decided to capture these days in a new vlog, take you with me to vote (but I was forbidden to film it 🥲) and share my thoughts about Presidental Elections in Russia 2024 a little. And then I suddenly found myself at the Carnival (Maslenitsa). In short, I hope you put a like for this vlog, even if you don't like it, thank you! 🥰 🙏🏼💕

In the US, at least where I live, it is also illegal to film or photograph inside the polling place. I believe the rule is to help ensure privacy for those who are voting. But I guess there must be an exception for journalists because you always see the videos of politicians submitting their ballots.

In the US it is illegal for candidates to enter certain polling stations. The use of video is strictly prohibited in polling stations and that includes police body cameras. If we see politicians voting its a mock ballot they hold up showing they are voting but we dont see it. That never happened

@@StrigoiVampire correct, the burning of something is a human tradition that predates religions, when people only believed in symbolism. A fire indicates transition and renewal, simply because that's exactly what it does. So burning something that symbolizes a time period, means that people are transitioning to the next time. In my city, we do it at the end of the 40 darkest days of the year (so we don't need actual winters or spring, hahaha) and we too burn a doll. In Germany they burn Christmas trees in huge organized bonfires. It's amazing to be in Bavaria on that night and see the fires of dozens of villages around from a hilltop.

Hey Nesty, I can't believe that differences in the voting poles between yours and SVETLANA! She made is so easy and no issues with filming. I guess the voting crew prefers Blonds over Red heads! 😂😂 As I watch your frustration, I can almost compare your voting rights to the review board from the Shawshank Redemption Movie! Agent Nesty, you served a 24 yr life sentence until the Putin Administration, how do you vote? Not Putin! Then the next sound you here and see is the stamp hits the paper with your vote cast for Putin! 😭😭Then you head to the center square to Celebrate with everyone else on a victory, of spring! All I can hope for is that you go every 4 years (Updated: 6 wonderful years😨😨= 4 plus 2 for good luck, OMG?) and vote for what you believe in your heart! I believe someone recently departed mention, Never Give Up! 👍👍PEACE!

You haven't seen any bad times in Russia. I was born in the USSR and have always been immersed in political life. I clearly remember all the events, I know by name who plunged the great country into dark times and poverty and who fixed everything after. So it’s strange for me to see any doubts about personalities.

KGB officials destroyed the country in the USSR, and now KGB officials are destroying the country again. Have you never asked yourself why Putin hangs his left arm, that's how you learn to walk in the KGB. His entire environment consists of old KGB officers.

You have seen the bad times yet forget that the IMF bailed out Russia after the collapse, also Western technologies and expertise which allowed Russia to develop their resources, once the gangsters got hold of all that cash though they misused it and certainly kept much within their own circles instead of developing more infrastructure for the benefit of the nation and its people, now as a result of the imperialistic path it chose it pushes the West away, the West won't bail it out next time and China certainly isn't the BFF some Russians think it is. Russians will get what they voted for, feel bad for all those younger progressive Russians whos hopes are dashed against the new iron curtain.

My experience pretty much. I remember 1998 vividly, the height of "free world" loving and embracing Russia, the height of our self doubt and self deprecation, and the sudden strike of poverty. Then Yugoslavia happened, never have I felt such despair and embarrassment for my country, we should have intervened, all be damned. Then Putin happened, and I wish him the strongest health and resolve. There's hope now, the vision for the future. A lot to do, a lot to build, nothing of that can be done or built by people organizing "protests", all they can do is smear and destroy, never in their miserable lives they've done anything constructive.

That, and he has just secured himself another *6* years, of course yet again illegitimately. Plus, there are zero indications that he'll quit voluntarily in 6 years after 30 years in power. Everything is looking like he'll be in power for the rest of his life if the people allow it to happen. Regarding healthcare, few if any people on this planet are taken care of better than him and stress aside he has a healthy lifestyle. So him reaching the age of 90+ years is very much possible if not likely.
