As a russian I confirm this is a basic and most normal russian new year celebration. Ofc with some minor differences like sometimes it`s in appartments, not parents` house but in general it`s the same.

Moved to big cities for work early in life, but the last 22 years have lived on 25 acres in the mountains of Montana. Beautiful spot near the city of Helena Montana. Keep making your videos. It shows how much we all have in common, and that can help to bring understanding and peace. Your village is wonderful and similar to many small towns in the United States.

The schools in Russia are so different then schools in the USA. In the U.S. the schools are broken up by grade. As a student you will first start off going to Elementary school which is grade Pre-K to 5th Grade. Then, you will go to Middle school which is only 6th Grade to 8th grade. Finally, you will go to High School which is 9th grade to 12th grade. In Elementary school I don’t believe there are any lockers. You will get a locker in Middle School & High School but they were optional. I know the High School I went to was completely renovated and the lockers were removed and replaced with interactive walls and built in benches. We are also provided MacBooks or IPads because the district wants us to no longer use pencil and paper. The high school I went to was huge but also average. It consisted of 7 buildings. The front or main building was 4 stories tall & a basement. On one side of the building was a 3 story auditorium and on the left wing of the building was a gym with locker rooms underneath. The basement consisted of all the art classes. The second and third building had a really long hallway connecting all of them or you could walk outside briefly. They were both 2 stories and the 3rd building has a huge professional music studio. While the second building had a makeshift hospital 🏥 for the Medical program. The fourth building is only 2 stories and the nicest of the buildings. A half of the building was dedicated to the Culinary department. With a professional kitchen and a whole entire restaurant that could fit hundreds of people in. Building 1-4 are back to back to eachother. The fifth building is like a good walk from the front of the school. It was dedicated to 3 computer labs, robotics and mechanics work. The 6th building is just an additional gymnasium with more locker rooms. The last and final building is the Athletics building. You will find state of the art gym equipment that was donated to the school. With a room dedicated to weights, a room dedicated to cardio with an indoor track, and the athletic First Aid office with more locker rooms. There is also 4 fields, an outdoor track and 6 tennis courts.
