I think the glitchy ATM was insinuating that Lincoln had stolen cash out of it. He offers to take care of the tolls, and offers to buy the car with cash back at the apartment.

It's a nitpick, but my first watch through, I was more than a bit annoyed with the team for often getting in the face of the boss and demanding to know answers. It's the whole nature of the spy biz: compartmentalization. I get that they're a closer-than-normal SHIELD team, but trust goes both ways. They have to trust that Coulson will do his best to give them what they need, not always what they want, which all too often is director-level access. That said, it is a nitpick. I've watched the show through three times and it remains a favorite.

Just to make you aware, you need to have seen Agent Carter Seasons 1&2 before you watch SHIELD Season 7. Technically you should have watched it concurrently with Seasons 2&3, as the flashbacks to WWII with Peggy flow smoother having just come off of her own show.

Man I love Fitz's character. He'd do anything for those he cares about. I like his interactions with Bobbi as well, they weren't people I was expecting to interact, but when they do it works out really well. He uses his past trauma to help others (Skye in 2x11, Simmons here, and Bobbi with her rehab). I like Coulson's decision as well. He understands that choosing who fights the enemy just distracts from fighting the real enemy. As someone who shipped Daisy and Lincoln since their sweet afterlife interactions, I wasn't as surprised as most people when they kissed here XD.

I liked how you said we had Fitz trauma so now it's time for Jemma trauma--correct! 😂😭 Also I really liked how you picked up that Fitz helped Bobbi through her recovery as well (along with the reference to his own). That was just a really nice, simple scene that gave us a great peek into these two characters' relationship who don't often interact directly but have obviously really helped each other offscreen between seasons. As far as Jemma wanting to go back? Oh, Jemma. Oh no.

Love the Bobbi/Fitz conversation, about Fitzsimmons and their traumas. Keep in mind, Bobbi’s still mentally and physically recovering from almost dying went Ward and 33 tortured her. That’s why she’s not with Hunter. With Simmons, she’s been missing for 6 MONTHS. It’s been 6 months since the end of season 2 and she has been alone, starving, and apparently hunted on an alien planet. Like she should be dead. Everyone thought she was.

I don't think it's that obvious when he's picked up and can't see the future. Even rewatching it, I still don't think it's that clear but it only becomes more apparent when they get to his apartment that there is some history of substance abuse or self harm. In the moment, it seemed like his dad was just picking him up and poking at why until we get more information. I hope no one thinks I knowingly poked fun at him when I said that either.

With “sonic the hedgehog” the atcu and shield know nothing about him. He’s a completely separate threat both of them are unaware of until he goes after Lincoln in the hospital. Rosalind and Coulson can’t use him as a bargaining chip bc he’s a third party, separate from their conflict. Neither of them want a picture of him to get out bc he’s already recognizable and it would probably make the public panic. That’s just my take on it.

4:31 the real joke of that scene originally was that subtitles did appear when they were talking, but D+ doesn't show them for some reason.
@dondumitru70933 ай бұрын
Yes, I was wondering where the subtitles were. Disney apparently had to 'place their mark' in this series, in a variety of small ways.
@ennaxor3 ай бұрын
Also - upcoming episode 3x06 has some subtitles that are necessary to understand the scene, and Disney+ doesn't show those either.
@dondumitru70933 ай бұрын
@@ennaxor My guess is that Disney+ received the source material from 'earlier' in the production stream, after editing and sound were all done, but before late-adds like the explicit subtitles were placed on the screen. Maybe it had to do for example with scaling, where by the time the subtitles were chosen the video was already scaled to a particular resolution (scaling the explicit subtitles could cause poor quality), and by grabbing the earlier higher-resolution material it made the streaming production pipeline better. But they didn't realize they were dropping the explicit subtitles. Or something like that.

Season 2 definitely hinted at Daisy and Lincoln relationship but I will agree that their kiss does come a little bit out of nowhere. Like it was a little of an odd place to have a kiss. It wasn’t unsurprising, just a bit unnecessary in the moment.

Some of these comments are super harsh, and I say that as a super fan. It’s totally reasonable to think the Daisy Lincoln connection was a bit out of nowhere. Yeah you're not the only one who felt the Daisy/Lincoln romance was quite sudden. It certainly doesn't help that in my opinion, the actors have no romantic chemistry. Which is a shame because in interviews and such they and the rest of the cast play off each other really well. Also, I'm sorry how rude many commenters are on your videos. It's not some capital offense to not notice something on initial viewing (especially when you're simultaneously reacting), and I think people forget that they've had the opportunity to watch these episdoes ad infinitum, whereas this is your first viewing ever. This and the next episode are two of my least favorite. I find Hunter and Lincoln to be garbage character personally, and the focus on them this season makes this one of my least favorite of the series. Trying to make Hunter a badass fails miserably, as he is no match for Ward in any capacity. And the Lincoln/Daisy romance is trash because they have zero chemistry together imo.
