7 years is a solid run, especially for a Mutant Enemy show. The only show they've done that ever ran that long was Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which also ended on purpose. I don't think 8 season shows is something they do. But there are supposedly a couple of new Mutant Enemy shows already in the works. The Nevers is coming to HBO, and I'm not sure what the current status of the Vampire Slayer legacy show (apparently misreported as a Buffy reboot) is, but that's at least a hypothetical thing. And I'm sure Maurissa, Jed and Jeff already have some ideas for what they want to do next.
