Because you asked, I’m listening to this for the first time. It’s a warm day today, early evening time. I’m drinking a few beers for a buzz, nothing crazy. There is a cool breeze blowing through the screen door. I only worked for three hours making two tombstones. There’s an over all feeling of satisfaction about the day. Thank you for the nice music. Life is grand.

Age of Wonders became too sandboxy after 3 and 4, takes away a lot of the immersion because 'everyone can be anything' and so difference don't matter anything. What made AoW1 and 2 so interesting were the differences! The alignment system and units unique to an alignment. And the magic sphere customization HARUMF. At least the soundtrack always stayed great tho

You can build your opponents excactly like you want them and set them as AI to play against. Brutal Orcs Slavers, Magic Elves, Dwarf builders, just make em. With the DLCs the options of diversifying gets better and better.

@@CRuduxypegg I know there's a mod called Age of Music, but it has a bunch of low quality tracks from 1 and 2 that I could really do without. But the AoW3 tracks are top notch.

No, not as a singular track unto itself but Van den Bos said in an interview he put in a lot of nods to songs from previous games. I know I've definitely heard bits of Life Song and Death Song lol
