Agero is so greedy that sometimes it makes me sick. I’m a small light duty roadside business owner with one vehicle. It’s been a struggle just to get in the upper echelon of the service providers in my area (with Auto Rescue ‘the $12 dollar middle men’ being the top service providers in my area for light duty). This is my first year in business and I just closed it off this tax season and one thing that I can say, is that the stress, the bullshit, and the running trucks into the ground definitely does not equate when you’re doing light duty Roadside only on an Agero contract. These nickel and dimes just don’t make sense. It’s a shame that they just won’t do right by providers. I’m one of the few providers in my city that’ll answer the call at 4 AM 5 AM in the morning. The worst part about all this I guess is that the customer suffers without even really understanding what’s going on. They just get left sitting by the side of the road for hours not understanding why.

Omega's Legacy I am a provider who only does light and medium duty soft services and I used to do decent with Agero until they recently changed how they approve fuel surcharges for out if area calls (80% of calls I receive from them). They now only do it if you go at least 30 miles out. I used to do out of area calls and get fuel surcharges no problem. But since they ran a lot of providers away with this insurance bullshit, they are now being tightwads and covering their asses. And of course when I ask for credit card upfront or tell them the customer will have to pay out of pocket, I get the “I will call you back” line (and of course they never call back). They actually believe that I am going to drive more than 10 miles for only $26. Fuck that. I now just reject all of their out of area calls unless they are medium duty calls (which actually pay well). I expanded my reach with Allstate and Quest and I do way better than I did with Agero. Agero can kick boulders.

I tried to get a contract with Allstate as a partner but they said that I only had 1 service truck and that I should come back when I have at least 3 trucks on the road. It must be different for your region. As for Quest I’m already with them and they don’t really send hardly any calls. Do you have any advice on companies that I could go through to kick up The volume of my Cash calls?

Hey brothers ,everyone need to watch out from URGENTLY,they have a trick that started in january ,they will agree to your price and when you perform the job and ask for the VCC they will short you and tell you that all what they can approve and you need to contact payment department to approve the rest ,but this department will never answer phones or emails ,you need to have them send an email with the job description and the amount agreed on,plus a CC on file with the Goa and the rest when I am on site,my minimum Goa is 75$$ depends on the job ,screw that 20$ contract rate , What the hell am I going to do with 20$$?? Buy some candy !!

The real problem are these companies like auto rescue solutions and all of the other ones that have remote locations and hire kids off of craigslist to do the jobs for $12 per car they lowered or raised to the $20 range and contract out and basically are only playing mini Motor Club they aren’t even in Roadside Assistance providers themselves that is the biggest problem with the industry and they are leaving customers out sitting in cold and dark 43 and four hours plus

whatz up Luis, I'm down here in Decatur, Ga running my truck. Agero stop sending me calling around June of last year. I believe they sent me over to swoop. I Did the same thing you did as far as asking for credit card over the phone. Agero still owe me money for p.o. they shorted me on. I don't believe it's worth added more coverage on your insurance,if they are not going to go up on the rates. they making it hard out here to make Dollar these days. I feel everything u are saying.

Hello Luis, we were forced to agree to the terms. We couldn't even bill them for the POs that we had already completed. I avoided agreeing for about a week and tried to communicate with them on raising the service rates, all they said was that there was pushback from upper management to increase their rates. We are a small company, just my wife, myself with 2 trucks and one additional employee, we are unsure what the next move will be, but we're trying to get in with other motor clubs and advertising hard to try and increase cash calls. Our insurance for 2 trucks went from 16k to 33k per year. Its very disheartening to watch our dreams for our future just up for grabs to the lowest bidders. I sincerely hope this blows up in their faces. We'll see.

We’re supposed to be these hero’s that rescue everyone but I don’t understand how the big companies work with them . They just forced us to sign something saying we’re at will and can be terminated at any time for any reason meanwhile I have a family to take care of and Christmas is around the corner. Not to mention we don’t get paid that well . I wish I could put my years of experience elsewhere. I’m currently looking for another job but it’s not easy to find one that pays enough . Imagine my heart when I read that in the company email, we're struggling as it is to find people providers willing to service people as it is, everyone's shut down cause of the virus, nothing's available at night and it fucking hurts saying we can't find service for someone when they're stranded and are crying "HELP ME, PLEASE." I spent an hour with my mother who isn't employed and another employee trying to find this family who was stranded for 4 hours a truck that's willing to taxi them to the city limits so they can call a ride to a motel to sleep the night off when Uber, Lyft and even the county Police weren't going to help these people, I finally pushed through, got them service and lo and behold they took them within the city limits. And I get scolded for it. "Should not have spent so long on that call, they should have called for a ride themselves." THEY FUCKING DID. THEY GOT NOTHING. I have the fucking human DECENCY TO NOT ABANDON THEM AND HELP THEM. I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THAT RULE TO ABANDON THEM AND HAVE THEM SAVE THEMSELVES. FUCK. THAT.

@@2KCamaroZ28SS I worked for Agero. I gave them the finger about 6 months ago. They couldn't get any of their shit together, Swoop, no clue what was going on there, I wasn't in the Swoop department. I did the Roadside and Accident Management. And dear God was the mental strain agonizing to the point I was literally stabbing a box during my break just to avoid snapping at someone who didn't deserve my pent-up rage towards Agero's bullshit. Yeah, they laid off the Sault Saint Marie division, put 300 people out of work and dumped ALL of those calls onto everyone else, made us sign up for MANDATORY OVERTIME that never fucking ended and resulted in 12-hour work shifts every fucking night for us graveyarders. Oh and we weren't allowed to slow down and talk clearly and coherently, we're supposed to babble everything out on a dime otherwise "You took too long on that call, penalized. You're doing great, but do better."

I think Agero is trying to run away providers so they do not have to pay as many people but the problem is there will be gaps in coverage and customers will end up suffering. It seems that not only does Agero not care about the providers who do this work for them, they also do not care about the customers either.

I serviced Agero for about 6 mo. They paid for the small claims in full most of the time but anything over $100 would get broken down into partial payments over several months. It was impossible to track what had and had not been paid correctly even when detailed records were kept. If you had to call in to the accounting office for assistance they always tried to act like whatever you were questioning had already been paid. Only when confronted with their own deposit records and your invoice tracking would they even begin to acknowledge the possibility of a problem. I had so many unpaid or incorrectly paid invoices in such a short period of time that I dropped them after the initial 6 mos. I would NOT recommend Agero to any service provider, not even as a fill in or backup.

I think all the Towing & Shop business needs to find a better agent insurance companies about this because no matter what anybody does I would love to see every business day on business and every business that deals with this motor club companies needs to leave a stone companies alone because this is why we can get good customers we need to start doing wrong thing from prices to make up higher not lower and we need to go out to the motor clubs and they would lose the court

The one thing I figured out with auto clubs they have no loyalty to anyone at all. I was supposed to be the primary for Road America in my area. But I wasn't getting any light service calls. I would go to a tow and find out that another service provider was there before me to change a tire but couldn't get the tire off so they called me for the tow.. I'm on digital dispatch. I found out that a locksmith company was doing the light service calls cheaper and getting all of my light service calls in my area.. and they are not even in the same city. So I dropped Road America and Quest towing for the same reasons.. now they try and call me at times when no one else will do it.. but I turn them away. I still do Honk but I turn alot of them down due to price. And I've all but stop doing Urgently.

AAA tried to go to a million dollar coverage. It didn't work out so well. It is unrealistic for the small businesses. I had never heard of Agero before watching your videos. I had 2 calls last year, I could not understand who they were. I don't know if they would call someone that is not sighed up with them, if they were desperate. I am the only truck for 30 miles and only two in 50.

It's against OUR company policy, that Agero agreed to upon entering into contract with us. That our hours are set for motor clubs, and our territory. So, no. We take the CC payment at OUR rates or they get no service. Glad Agero is going under. Can't wait to see them completely GONE. Then the dispatchers can go back to working at McDonald's and Taco Bell.
