Remember ,also that many kadis of the sharia court ourt of Appeal are lawyers who could be elevated to justices of the court of Appeal and the Supreme court of Nigeria. The Abubakar that called on the program needs to have his head examined, where is this debate about Sowore illegal arrest within court premises turns to personal matter? Does he realise that this could happen to anyone? The issue of the DSS invading the court to arrest Sowore is despicable, apparently no respect for rule of law. It does not portray a good image of Nigeria. Must someone who is talking of a revolution without weapon be subjected to this kind of inhumane treatment? I just keep wondering. His Excellency should have come out and say something amidst international condemnation. He kept mute and was sending his adviser who was feeding people with unwarranted information when the whole scenario was captured life; this is a full blown news Worldwide within seconds of arrest. Saying that no one should meddle in Nigeria affairs apparently shows that his Excellency Knew about it or happy about it, after all this cause for condemnation in the highest order. Power corrupt, absolute power corrupt absolutely (Lord Action) One would have thought that the man whom we voted to rule over us , a man who got a second chance on the platform of fighting corrupt practices would have let his words be his bond but the opposite is the case in this matter. There is lots of insecurity in the country, people cannot sleep with their eyes closed; DSS should use their power where they are needed if they are that power drunk; Boko haram, Fulani Herdsmen to mention but few and stop harassing innocent people who talked of revolution without intent. The way the DSS are acting unprofessionally with impunity is a reminiscence of an incompetent kind of leadership. One can try to silence opposition leader at slightest opportunity, or silence all journalist, and their supporters; it makes people more resolute towards revolution. I wonder if they realise that the whole scenario had turned Sowore to a Hero and that is exactly what Sowore wanted. DSS action has the opposite effect and has caused Nigeria enough embarrassment. We have had enough of this embarrassment. It appears as if Nigeria is under a siege but the eyes of the world are watching.
