What a shocker, a police officer didn’t do any type of investigation before making an arrest!

i went thru this . cop lied on his report because it was his family, no one even looked at it. i was lucky my wife saw it going down and she recorded it with her phone! the cop even said on the footage that he was going too lie! got him arrested, the other got arrested as well ! i suied won $350.00 for it !

My friend helped a child in a store from getting hit with a falling box, he ended up arrested for a year due to false accusations and misunderstanding followed by an exaggeration from security and cops who did not investigate, and the Good Samaritan law somehow did not apply. Lesson learned: do not ever touch or help anyone.

@@NegronJames-yr4lb yeah.. it was a mom with like ten kids crawling around the store. he tried to help this kid not get hit by an object, and grabbed the kid off the floor - split second decision. ended up in jail for months for it, then charges quietly dropped, but his name forever ruined

Hey, what if this really does happen to you, but with a gun? And 2 days later his boses boss calls me telling me how the plantiff has done this before with a toy pistol. Evidence. What do i do? I am here because i am waiting for an investigation from corporate and the police to ensue. Should i get a lawyer now? And fir what?

This guy I know was being wrestled against his will by coworker who does martial arts and he hurt his shoulder, in self defense he showed the guy his knife and said he will use it if he wrestles him again, the guy had a relationship with police, he had the police come raid the victim’s house and they found a knife in his safe, so now he is going to court being charged with assault with a knife even though he was the one victimized.

​@Hello-zf5lq I just recently was threatened with being beat n robbed by a stranger at a bar I was leaving, I tried to talk my way out of it till he lunged at me, so in a last ditch effort to keep him away from me I pulled my knife n held it by my side. It worked and he backed away 1ft, grabbed his gun n pointed it between my eyes. I could see down the barrel so I put my hands in the air, closed the knife and put it back in my pocket and slowly side stepped to the right n back into the parking lot towards the crowd of 10 or more employees and patrons just watching, not doing anything to help me. He then yells out something, grabs my 2 grand 1wheel skateboard and through it 20 ft across the parking lot and fkd it up. I called the cop's and after a month long investigation they only charged him with criminal mischief and ME with aggravated assault 😤 This happened Oct 28th of this year

potentially in theory, we only handle the criminal side of cases, however. Civil is a whole different area of law, but the client always could contact a civil attorney

You have to overcome qualified immunity and file a federal 1983 action (42 USC § 1983). Answer: Find a truly empathetic and competent atty. in that subfield.

In a way yes - we were able to destroy his credibility in court, however, we're criminal defense not civil so suing the officer would be up to our client.
