Agility Forgelance Feels OP - and I LOVE it! [Dofus PvM]

The new Dofus Forgelance class has FINALLY arrived, and I'm having a blast learning them. In this video, I'll give my first impressions of the Forgelance, a little perspective on each elemental build (so far), and we'll run over and check out some of the new archipelago of Valonia Islands.

Been back in the game for about a week now to start a 4 man team from scratch again, the main reason I didn't choose forgelance is because as you say, moving the enemies around too much. Great to see you back, Benjamin! And since you are back, and since you are pretty much the ONLY English-speaking channel that talks about Dofus (well, there are some other channels that mostly show off or just stream stuff), I would like to make a brief list of videos I would like to see. And no, none of them is about kamas, because in today's age, 5 Euros can give me a couple million kamas easily, so why would people even bother? 1) A video of a step-by-step explanation on treasure hunts. 2) A video on how to assemble a map (at the same place where treasure hunts start), in order to find Wanted criminals like that pesky Squirrel which I can never find in Astrub. 3) A video on how to breed dragoturkeys, step-by-step. I know this one inside out, but I see lot of people struggling with this. 4) A video explaining Emsembles. Why, how, and what are the advantages? 5) A brief video explaining the rooms of the Dimensions, where to access them, and how to navigate them. of course, people can always leave the place using a recall potion, but it would be nice to see a video addressing that. 6) A video explaining maging. Lot of people don't know that if you are level 200 smith, and level 1 magus, you still have to create a sword level 1, to start maging. 7) A video pointing out the zaapis in different cities. Especially in Frigost, which I find utterly useless. 8) A brief video explaining how long people need to wait to do certain functions: using the guild chest in banks, setting up a house as a guild house (two months, I believe), a guild paddock, and so on. 9) KotH fighting. I can't find anything useful about this, since the latest revamp. Explain why there is a clock over a character's head, when entering areas, and what are the functions of healers, sentinels, and so on. 10) Last but not least, a video explaining Orders. Valliant Heart, Putrid Eye, and so on, and what is the actual use of belonging to an order, since some advantages have been removed, lately. Hope this is not too long of a wish list, hahaha! Thank you again!

Have you done Ohwymi 1 quests on the channel? Might be interesting after this 1. Also it's for level 80 so it's pretty close for your forgelance.

Thanks for the suggestion Shiraori - I did the very first quest, with my Quest to 200 team, but that was only 1 of like 8 (if I remember correctly). That might be a fun place to go next - I love that area over there and would love to learn more about it.

Moon island might make for some good questing around your level range. Moon itself might be tricky, but LeChouque and Kannibal is probably a decent challenge?

I have seen a lot of people playing AGI forge even on high LVL, and so far it seems to be one of the best elements (ofc we need more testing before deciding it). One thing people need to be careful is with low level impressions, agility at low level is simply too broken, tofu cape alone is better than multiple items a hundred of levels later, you can casually do a 10/6 build hitting a lot at low LVL with AGI, something that would be a struggle on other elements. But so far it seems like a safe bet

Yeah, there are a lot of variables to consider, and there's no chance of me covering them all, so you bring up a great point. Some elements just have better build options at different levels, and agility is usually great for low levels when it comes to getting a high damage attribute. I'm excited to try more elements as I climb the ranks. :-)

Can you do a video on what quests lines you can do in sort of an order from low level to high level. Like tell us where to start the quest line etc and maybe some rewards along the way/ at the end. and which ones you recommend and which to avoid. Just an idea but would be pretty useful

Thanks for the suggestion Toby. I have a handful of complete quest guide walkthroughs on the channel... I made a couple of the Dofus egg quests that were really fun to make (and turned out awesome if I don't say so myself...lol). My Quest to 200 series was basically me walking through the quest lines as well, and reading the dialog along the way - not as quick, but another option if you're looking for something a little more chill.

Yeah, I had to bring my Elio along so I could pass quest steps for videos. I don't usually have time to track someone down to help me along a step. Part of the trade-off I guess for making KZbin content. :-)

Hey Benjamight I m playing with forge lance. But I wanna get a second account. Can you tell what combinations are worth thinking of as second char?

I think anything that is also kind of 'tanky'... Feca, Fogger, Sacrier, and Panda would probably be my top suggestions for that. Most Lancer builds are going to keep you kind of close to the fight, so having someone else that can be in there right next to it, would probably work really well. Sorry for the super late response. ;-)

@@Benjamight hi i saw them but you need to Alt tab to play other characters but in this video u play as though you are playing with sidekick in a single client.

I'm actually alt-tabbing still, I've just done it for so long, it may not look like it. But if you're talking about launching the multiple accounts, there are 2 ways to set that up. If you hold the 'ctrl' key and tap the '2' on the keyboard while hovering over the launch button, it will automatically launch 2 accounts instead of just 1. The other way, inside the settings, you can actually pre-load all the information for as many accounts as you want to run, then each time you click the launch button, it will launch the next account you have setup in that list. Hopefully that helps answer your question.

@@Benjamight I see, I i use to play wakfu and they have a system called heroic where by paying extra you can use your other heroes to join your fight like a sidekick so i was wondering if there is something similar in dofus.Currently am using the 2nc option of having multiple clients open but that's consuming too much PC power. Oh, I know exactly what you're talking about chrislitmen, and I REALLY wish Dofus had that same feature (kind of hoping it will after the Unity port...lol), but unfortunately, that's a feature strictly for Wakfu currently.
