Stan revisits a subject that is a hot topic on his channel. The last episode he shot about this was about three years ago. Let's see how these older less expensive wines have developed in his cellar.

Would be interesting to have the wine vendors at the Mullis Center events comment on aging the wines that are being offered.

A few have commented on aging their wines and they all have a different angle. I thought Andrew Januik had some interesting thoughts on aging some of his wines at the event last month. I find that old world wines tend to be better candidates for aging when you get into the budget category.

Can you tell me again that second label for Stags Leap winery, that is super interesting. Also, which Stags Leap is it? There is Stag’s Leap & Stags' Leap, they are different wineries.

Hawk Crest. I'm not sure if they still have that label.

hi, how about axing rieslings? or other whites? i suppose they don't have the tannins to age, but fruit and acidity for sure. thanks for the video and your reply

I actually have quite a few Rieslings in my cellar, because they do age nicely. That would be a great episode! I would cellar some White Burgundy, but that would be a bit expensive for me. Thanks for the comment.
