So many people are convinced by the wine companies that you need to spend a lot of money in order to get an awesome wine and that is a lie. Amazing wine can be had for around $25.

Almost any wine benefits from some bottle age.I look for stuff with 3 to 5 years age in the store. Easier than trying to age my own. Have had some very nice bottles, and not a single bad one yet.

It's true quite a few wines will go up to five years. It's getting to ten and above that you have to make sure it has all the components to go that long. Especially if it's an inexpensive wine.

@@StanReitanStanTheWineMan Yes, getting past 5/6 years is problematic with inexpensive wines. Especially considering the storage condition in an average retail store. Since I don't have good storage conditions in my home, I make do with this strategy.
