Finally, a technique I could use. I simply needed to add 10 years to an actor. Most of the tutorials are from young to old age, 50's and above. Much help, thank you.
@Earendilgrey9 жыл бұрын
Old age make up is some of the hardest to pull off, but you did great. Only thing I would add is maybe a few light liver spots, especially if you do the hands. But that may be better if you are aging more than you did here. Either way, great tutorial.

This is amazing and so helpful! I want to try this for the first time soon. Can you have makeup under the wrinkle stipple like with rigid collodion? I'm very hesitant to put this directly on my skin without any barriers. Thanks!!

Trying to do this for an event. Would I need to get the ben nye specific powder and spray sealer or would regular make up setting spray and setting powder work? Want to make sure I get the order right and not pay extra in product/shipping

hey! I loved the tutorial! I have a question, how long can you stay with the latex on your face? I have a fear that, because of the stretching, after a long time with this forcing the skin, it would actually create real wrinckles, is that possible?

Sorry for commenting on such an old video, but I need some advice! Do I apply the wrinkle effect with liquid latex first, and then colour my face with face paints (it's quite a wide area application, not drawing wrinkles/contouring)? Or do I need to do it the other way around?

I have to do this on one of my cast mates for a theatre performance next week. What should I use instead of the eyeshadow palette as it is for theatre?
@sarakirby62388 жыл бұрын
You can still use eyeshadow just use it a little more heavily to avoid the person getting flushed out by lights. Having experience doing that, it works better than you think.

I have to say as a filmmaker this is invaluable. Now actors can actually age easily in a movie without waiting 20+ years!

They did this with the actors in Watchmen. They knew aging young actors was more convenient than hiring older actors for the role.
