Everyone will fade away one time. These bands will too. Tell me who is listening to Jack Cooper these adys? I think no one. He had top hits in the 30's. Old bands will be forgotten in time (no matter what genre or popularity we talk about) and new ones comes in their place with new musical trends. Just deal with it. Good night dear old sir. I guess this is the only place I can share this story: in 1987, I was in 8th grade, and I had recently gotten into Punk Rock and Hip Hop. I went to my Spanish 101 class and there was a girl with the most enormous boobs wearing an AF T-shirt. I had to check this band out! When this song came out it blew my mind.
