It is amazing! I had anxiety which including sleep anxiety. Game changer. Took 1 day to work for get my sleep in order. 3 days to remove anxiety. Zoloft took 6 weeks of hell. I love agomelatine!

I take Agomelatine, it helped with my sleep, but the biggest difference was that i used to suffer from horrific nightmares. These stopped once i started taking Agomelatine, which is wonderful and has been so good for my depression in that im not traumatised every night

Can I please ask why you started staking it , was it depression? Any other side affects? I’ve read it makes you nauseous and super lethargic which I don’t want you to have

@@abes2758 I started to due to depression. I don't react well to any anti depressants which involve Serotonin. The first week or so my senses were heightened. I was pretty exhausted for the first few weeks, But they both went away. It has definitely helped with my sleep, and my mood did pick up a bit, but not drastically, likely due to ongoing stressors in life. I don't think I've had any other side affects, but that is hard to tell cos I do take several types of medications for mental health needs. For me it has been beneficial I believe Hope that helps ☺️

@@abes2758I did reply to this but it looks like it got deleted? Not sure why? I'll shorten what I said so it hopefully doesn't get deleted. Any side affects I had went away after about 4 weeks. It's been positive

I’ve been on this for 8 weeks and I think my anxiety is worse . My sleep is still broken and I just feel run down . I’m going to ask my doctor to come off this drug

Hi all, I have been prescribed this but I stumbled across a reddit thread of all these side affects , my doctor told me it was one of the best tolerated. Some side affected oddly for most people was insomnia after taking it, and anger and aggression and major lethargy. Has anyone experienced this I have a lot of lethargy now due to depression and can’t not have this get worse.

Appreciate the video. What's the best way to wean off 25mg Sertraline? Have taken for 18 months but have been recommended to switch to Agomelatine, harder than I expected coming off Sertraline.

Best to speak to your doctor about weaning regimen, but if your quite sensitive sometimes just have to go extra slow.

These drugs are terrible for our health especially when taken long-term. I highly recommend the Medicating Normal documentary on youtube if you would like to check it out.
