THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO FOLLOWED MHA and made it so special :D A few quick announcements about the next shows and the schedule. The next THREE shows have already been decided. 1. Coming in first on the Patreon poll was DEMON SLAYER 2. I decided to watch the highly requested ARCANE 3. Coming in second on the Patreon poll was MOB PSYCHO 100. As a result, the next two shows on the channel will be Demon Slayer and Arcane, and when Arcane finishes, Mob Psycho 100 will begin. The schedule will look like this: 2/1 - Attack on Titan 2x20 2/2 - MHA Q&A 2/5 - Fruits Basket Q&A 2/9 - Demon Slayer reaction begins 2/10 - Arcane reaction begins TBD - Mob Psycho 100 reaction begins So it will be a quiet week or so on the channel but I look forward to seeing you for the new shows! Fun fact: Horikoshi revealed in a Q&A that the robots at UA actually tried to rebel once in the past. I'm convinced that the robots are gonna be the final villains of the series.

Lol they do seem to be expressing a lot of negative opinions about humanity. Robots are also a convenient way to have the heroes be allowed to be super destructive without remorse

In the manga, when Uraraka and Deku fist bumped, Mineta was shown jealous and Mina was jumping in joy, because as everyone knows, she's the number 1 shipper of Deku and Uraraka lol

I think that the little kid at the end of the episode was just a representation on how All Might can inspire people just by being there. It's his first day in 1st grade and just by looking at the All Might statue he feels inspired to keep going.

Nana being able to float was hinted back in the beginning of the season, while All Might was jumping building to building, Nana was "gliding" building to building. She did say she'd be watching Kotaro from above, since she's always on top of buildings.

It was cut from the anime, but Shigaraki comments on not liking his outfit when announced as the P.L.F. leader. The suit represents A.F.O. and the coat represents Overhaul exemplifying Shigaraki being his own person

The Aizawa and All Might conversation is so touching and it helps put All Might's feelings and "character arc" after his retirement into light. I mentioned back in the beginning of the season about how he grabbed at his injury when Endeavor got hurt. He really wishes he could help and its sad to see him so down about his "uselessness". (In episode 15 during Hawks montage of the students there's a shot in the manga of All Might looking very sad with a tear in his eye, I think it was alluding to this.) But again, Aizawa knowing just what to say, he's great.

Seeing you tell Class 1A, "you're doing great but work harder" while nervously laughing was basically me when this all happened. I am very nervous for them. I have a feeling this war will be very difficult on them, and may even break a few. Also, who do you think is the most likely to die. From the villains side I'd say Twice, as he's such a likeable and compassionate character, it would be a gut punch to see him die for his friends all while fighting the "heroes" of our story. But the super big question is whether a student from 1A will die. I've been thinking about it for a while, and if that happens, the show will be completely different forever in my opinion.

You'd think with a cast of characters this giant especially right off the bat it would be super bloated and confusing but they're all handled so well. They took their time giving them all their moments and now I can't even begin to choose a favorite character lol. This channel has become a part of my routine by now so I should be continuing to follow you for at least 1 of the shows you're gonna pick up after this. I'm still holding out for Jojos Bizarre Adventure some day lol but I've heard amazing things about Demon Slayer and Arcane so those are good choices, even if I'm hesitant to jump into something associated with Activision/Riot games.

My mother had a few sayings that have helped me throughout life: "Make it work" and "It'll all come out in the wash." The first is simple, in that life will always throw whatever it wants at you whenever it wants to do it, so you have to adapt on the fly to the best of your ability to accomplish your goals. The second is that things may not have worked out for you the way you wanted them to, but they'll still work out in the end regardless. The answers we get aren't always the answers we want, but often they're the answers we didn't know we needed until later. I can't speak for anyone else, but in my case Ma's words were spot on.

Wow, I never thought about All Might's whole life finally catching up to him. Yeah, you could tell he was starting to realize that when he became the "Symbol of Sweets". And I agree with you on the impact that these shows have on me. I always think about them. Especially once show in particular I started and am almost done with this month, Assassination Classroom. Behind the fun times in that show are crucial life lessons and ways to go about things.

You made a point about everyone's individual personal responsibility creating a network of strong people who create a strong community which kind of better the world in that way and I feel like the team attacks are a representation of that where the kids worked on their individual abilities and build confidence and now they're at the point where they can actually increase their strength by pooling it together with other people but it's way more effective than in season 1 because they took the time to grow as people and do the work to put themselves in the position to do better on their own not relying on structures and groups for that progress

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the Best Jeanist line is very different in the sub... In the sub Dabi says "Even IF this isn't him, it still means you killed someone." So Dabi thinks it's Best Jeanist but even if it isnt he doesn't care too much. In the dub it sounds like Dabi doesn't believe it at all. But I have a feeling Best Jeanist is actually dead😭

Because of the way Hawks described how powerful Shigaraki has gotten (in a metaphorical sense) and from what the story has been setting up, I feel like Shigaraki will win the war. He will win and Hero Society will be destroyed at least to some extent. And then the story will explore how everyone, especially Class 1A will live in that new, different world. And that is so ominous to me. Its super nerve-wracking but at the same time, I want to see it already. I'm beyond hyped. Season 6 can't come soon enough.

MVA did a pretty okay job with Toga, a pretty good job adapting Twice's content, and an excellent job adapting Shigaraki's content(minus the one still shot from episode 21). However, the characters of Spinner and Redestro suffered massively in the anime. Pretty much all of Redestro's characterization and moments of sorrow were cut from the anime. Important stuff about Spinner(that even gets made relevant later) was just taken out. I'd recommend anyone who hasn't , to read MVA just for the purpose of fleshing out characters, especially if you felt like they fell flat in these few episodes. Anyway, no matter who wins this upcoming conflict, society will soon begin to change. Especially once Shigaraki is involved. Plus Chaos!

in the sub and manga, deku says 'i'm too blessed.' instead of 'so lucky.' i feel like that has a whole different weight to it. not sure why the dub changed it, though they did also change bakugo's dialogue in the scene with deku and all might to be a lot more aggressive lmao

Have you made notice of the change in Shigiraki from last episode? When he had his flashback and crushed his father's hand, his hair changed from blue-gray to pitch white and his voice no longer shakes when he speaks. He's mentally and physically grown and changed from his experiences!

*me shipping EraserMight* OK FUN FACTS ABOUT THE ERASERHEAD AND ALL MIGHT DYNAMIC - 1) there was some supplementary content where, when asked about if All Might had any close friends, it was said that he was "fond" of Eraserhead 2) The two of them train Eri together and take care of her 3) After Kamino, there was a light novel short story with some really cute art where Eraser, Mic, and Midnight all went out drinking with All Might, and, upon becoming super drunk, Eraserhead thanked All Might and talked about how much he had done. The funny part was, he was telling this all to a daruma doll so All Might didn't believe him. 4) In a recent manga chapter, All Might expresses his absolute trust in Eraserhead in a moment of doubt [that's as specific as I can get without being spoilery] Jokes and my ship brain aside, it's actually wonderful that the two of them come to this point. They started out, Aizawa HATED what All Might represented and All Might feared and disliked Aizawa and his methods. Now, Aizawa is perhaps the closest thing AM has to a friend besides Tsukauchi. Aizawa gives him this honest yet heartfelt look at how much he's done for everyone, and because Aizawa isn't prone to niceties, he knows he means it. I love these two so much, and how All Might gets to show emotional vulnerability, which he probably was never allowed before.

Nicely put :D It's a beautiful scene for both of them. One thing that I think is often made clear in this show is that perspective is everything. Aizawa has different methods and might see through some of the cracks in All Might's I-am-here-and-perfect media personality but it's really such a superficial difference compared to who they are at heart and what they stand for.

@@AGoodwinTV I think it also speaks a lot to the respect there because Aizawa was somewhat vindicated during Kamino because his belief that this kind of self-sacrificing heroism was unsustainable, and HE WAS RIGHT! But he doesn't feel smug about it or good about it because all he really wants in his heart is for heroes to live long, happy lives, even / especially All Might. And when All Might decides he wants to live that life Aizawa wishes for all heroes, he and Aizawa become perfectly in harmony.

So about All Might meeting Stain, they actually cut stuff from the previous seasons that we’re setting it up. He’s currently in Tartarus, and Tsukauchi (All Might’s police friend, and I hope I spelled his name right) suggested setting up a meeting with Stain after the talk with AFO.

Can't wait for season 6 and the movie reactions. I suggest reading Vigilantes and Team-Up Missions while you wait. Some additional Info/fun facts: Mt. Lady, Rule and Uravity were one hero at some point in making the manga, but they decided to split the character into three. Its pretty easy to see how they all came from the same concept. The capture weapon of Shinso and Eraser is made from steel wire alloy and carbon nanofibers. My theory is that at some point, Eraser was actually part of the Support Class and made this for himself to try out being a hero like Shinso. It would make sense considering he was the one who tried to master the Binding Cloth fighting style. He does have a knife that is capable of cutting through it, which makes me think, How sharp is that thing? He could probably tie his scarf into it and use it to fight like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat. Vlad King was classmates with HoundDog in UA. His quirk Blood Control is actually pretty versatile, able to manipulate and harden it to many shapes. He actually has a supermove that gives him sharp blood claws lol Wolverine. The clones of Ectoplasm are actually a hive mind. Midnight only has male sidekicks in her agency. It was actually set up in season 3, but it was cut out. While AFO was being taken into Tartarus, we saw a panel showing Stain in a cell. Then after All Might’s talk with AFO, Tsukauchi (his police friend, who I hopefully spelled the name of right) suggested setting up a meeting with Stain.

Also - Wash is a fantastic character, though he doesn't have as much screentime. Spoiler free reason - he's popular from the commercials which is why he's ranked so high, but his powers are also incredible for rescue and his personality is top tier especially in a huge crisis, wayyyyy better than a lot of other heroes in his field. He earns that #8 title, that's for sure.

Aww. You left out the conversation between Mic and Aizawa and the Dadzawa moment that followed after with Eri. Those were some of my favorite moments from this episode. I just loved seeing how pissed off Mic was. And I really wanted to see more of their conversation after Mic asked what Aizawa was going to do. But at least it got cut off because of Eri and we got a very cute Dadzawa moment.

That's a good question. I think if the dub only takes a few weeks I'll wait, since I'm so used to it. But if it takes upwards of a month I'll just switch to sub and force myself to adapt lol

Are you going to post a reaction to the second MHA movie? I think I've seen comments in the past by people like MRR D, who see your vids a week in advance, that you have seen it. Though, I also imagine posting it to youtube, even edited or in parts, would be difficult. Edit: Checked your patreon, so I do know you have done a reaction, just haven't publicly posted it. Season 6, the war against the paranormal revolution army. I just saw some things from the manga and I want to see now how the anime will do. They will make it as close as they can to the anime or they will sensour all? We only can wait to see.

You've definitely become one of my favorite MHA reactors and reactors in general, and it's been a journey since I discovered your channel back during the middle of season 2. I do really hope you decide to stick with the dub for this show because I think they do such a fantastic job (and new episodes only release 2 weeks later in the dub which is pretty good for anime standards). a strange thought aswell is that all might is the first all for one user not to die young even though forsight predicted he would die he must have felt selfish since before he thought its okay since he was dedicating his life to being te symbol of peace now to him hes not changing anything and while deku was training with endeavour the time were hes less active must have hit him even harder

Soooo OFA just got revealed to Shigaraki. And yeah MVA completely lost the impact of EVERY single quirk progression the kids did in AvB. We know they’re completely outmatched. And their ace in the hole being Deku just lost a ton of surprise factor. Also the kiddos are getting somewhere in their relationships. Uraraka is everything Deku needs. And the new quirk is what always has me curious about All-Might’s OFA experience. How would he KNOW that Float unlocks 2nd? I’m not convinced All-Might is done. Because although he’s powerless, there’s enough secrecy hiding under the wings that tells me it all needs to explode out. And between Eri existing, Nighteye’s prophecy, and his love and faith of his students and his new son(s) if you include Bakugo, it all tells me his time as the symbol of peace is over. But not his time as an OFA authority. At the end of the day, there is a very specific purpose All-Might has to the story Deku does not have. Shigaraki is Deku’s duty to face as the new AFO essentially. But as for the retired masters, NEITHER AFO or All-Might seem as if they are finished.
