About the part about the temple and it’s ruins I think I kinda know why? So basically the temple used to be full within artifacts and much more so the dishes can celebrate their religion, Calix Animi, but a fight came and as it appears the Devil and some ‘inklings’ fought and won. Now, I think it has a brief explanation in another au kinda related to casino cups that’s about Cups and Mugs parents.

Okay, Im going to share a theory I have real quick about the cup boys and King Dice. What if, and hear me out, they're related? Like, distantly, in a way. I know that they're completely different objects, BUT his body does seem to be made of a kind of maybe porcelain make up like the cup boys' bodies. I also don't think there are any other object people in The Inkwell Isles that are like the boys and King Dice. I know this theory doesn't make much sense and I don't know how to explain it, but I just feel like King Dice and the cup boys have these biological similarities to eachother that they don't share with other Inkwell Isles creatures. Maybe King Dice's ancestors were once calix animi/cup people, but seperated and due to interracial relationships they changed into dice? I also can't help but think that all three of them, with their similarities, being drawn to/ended up with the devil isn't a coincidence. Maybe the calix animi are drawn to the devil because they opposed him and want to vanquish him or something? But the boys and King Dice are drawn to him but have no idea why because they weren't raised by the calix animi or their bloodlines are just so far down the line that those "instincts" are fading?
