Question 1: B Question 2: Pastoral Nomads migrate with their animals and allow them to graze on the land, often times over grazing will occur. This will remove key vegetation which leads to desertification. Question 3: A Question 4: C Question 5: Draining the wetlands destroys unique ecosystems. It can also lead to more water run off and water pollution, this is because the wetlands often act as a filter system for rainwater. When they are removed more pollutants gets into our rivers, lakes, and oceans.

Hmm, pastoral nomads cause desertification? Very odd group to put the blame one. Pastoral nomads do subsistence agriculture, they have only enough livestock to survive. Pastoral nomads constantly move and bring their animals with them. There aren't enough animals nor are they in one area long enough to the point where they over-graze and strip the land of vegetation (again, they move from place to place seasonally, allowing vegetation to grow back if it was affected to begin with). Oftentimes, pastoral nomads will follow their animal's natural migration patterns, and that doesn't affect the land negatively. It's large industrial cattle/livestock farmers that cause desertification, as well as mass intensive crops that erode and deplete the soil, causing it to lose its nutrients. It's always the large commercial industries that cause harm to the environment, blaming it on subsistence farmers who are trying to survive and don't even produce enough food to minorly affect the environment is....not nice. Not to offend or anything.
