Is there a modern agriculture revolution? If so, what are some important characteristics? 4. What's the difference between agribusiness and commercial agriculture? 5. Is multi-cropping, intertillage, and intercropping the same thing? And how long did it take you to make the video?

I am glad that the video was able to help you out! As for your questions... 1. The first GMO plant I believe was something with tomatoes, however, I do not know for sure bout rice or wheat. I believe it is wheat 2. Market gardening is small scale production of vegetable and flowers, most of these products will go to restaurants or small markets. Some people do combined the two concepts, however, truck farming is normally referencing larger scale production where the crops are sent around the country. 3. The modern agricultural revolution, or a possible fourth revolution, would be focused on new advancements in GMOs, drones, vertical farming, and use of technology 4. Agribusiness is part of commercial agriculture. Agribusiness is large corporations who are running the production of food, while commercial agriculture is any form of agriculture used to produce food for profit 5. Multi-cropping is when you are growing more than one crop at a time. Intertillage is a way of growing crops in a more sustainable way, same with intercropping 6. A very long time, after shooting the video there was over 4 hours of film. I am glad it helped!

Nikole Val I’m pretty sure that both division and specialization of labor are the same thing just different terms, not 100 percent sure tho. Also, not during the first Agricultural Revolution since that’s the Neolithic Revolution 10,000 years ago, but possibly the 2nd agricultural Revolution since that ties in with the Industrial Revolution, urbanization, population growth, the factory system, and, of course, the division and specialization of labor. I hope that makes sense!

Oryn Y. It depends on the purpose of the plantation. Plantation farming is considered intensive, but it can be commercial. Many LDC’s use plantations and sell the product in the international market. In the days of slavery in the U.S. when slaves farmed to feed there masters, it was intensive subsistence. The answer is, sometimes.
