This is the cleaning shoe/sieves that you can later see in details. It removes the hulls/skin of the seed.

Yes the primary goal is the linen but the seed can be used for oil of course.

Thank you! The guy on top controls the 2 threshing drums which have to be perfectly lined up with the crop to thresh all the seed. The flax varies in length sometimes so this is important.

Hij kan de 2 dorstrommels verschuiven zodat ze alle zaadbollen eraf halen. Omdat het gewas in lengte kan variëren is dat nodig.
