REGIMENTS III is incredible. So much detail easily selected in natural intuitive ease as if being right there with whatever particular weapons system i am using. Reminds me of a real time version of Gary Grisby's STEEL PANTHERS with the same level of insane depth and even BIGGER MAPS. COLD WAR SOUTHERSTORM is a work of pure gaming art mesmerizing in its delivery where anyone with even the slightest experience of anything similar will be able to jump into intense hardcore where a intuitive mix of realism based game mechanics and player commonsense merge to create a one of a kind war game. The audio work is also top notch with terrifying weapons fire and cool radio chatter. The popup menus are elegantly done which is one of the elements that make everything so comfortable to get into. Have not played WARNO yet but i have played the previous games very briefly due to.. NEW GAME DISTRACTION!!! STEEL DIVISION and its sequel along with all the DLC are excellent and one of the reasons i got into these later wargames after seeing you playing those large scale complicated war games which zoom in right down to ground level on snowy battlefields trudging artillery across the terrain. I wanted something similar but slightly less complicated and more fast paced like what happens in modern warfare and these kind of games deliver what am looking for with a more direct sense of outcome and less abstract. MEN OF WAR II is another great one but adds a more complicated layer but with the intuitive ease of the above games. It even now has offline mode as of October 2024. It has an interesting mix of turn based pause and real time combat which makes things intense giving that visceral thrill of a REGIMENTS III where the whole HUMONGOUS battlefield needs to be observed constantly which is where the pause turn based aspects come in real handy not only to play observer but give out commands which will go into play once the game is unpaused. November is always my favorite month of the year for wargames ever since i got into the habit of playing WARHAMMER 40,000 FINAL LIBERATION on Thanksgiving Day back in the 1990's. Now i play many other wargames for the entire month along with watching GODZILLA movie marathons ha ha so fun times fun times. HAIL SLITHERINE! Praise the greatness to be! Very nice list, Cold War Southern Storm seems a game to my wishlist 👍, have you considered to put "World in Conflict" or "WinSPMBT" or "Armored Brigade" or maybe "Call to Arms" unless, you planned to do another category for top three?!?! anyway, Ty for the video 👍
