How well does the mapping system work compared to DJIs mapping functions? Slower, faster, same detail as others?

You would need a to register for a CAPS account with the FAA and file for an ATO COA(Certificate of Authorization), for each location in controlled airspace or proximity to a public access airport as required by the Blanket-COA attached to your 44807 Exemption. After issuance, each ATO-COA requires a monthly report to the FAA on flights conducted under it, including no flights.

How does it compare to something like the XAG P100 pro or DJI T50 actually head on? Seems decent but definitely a copy cat drone of DJI... - Radar J100 is 40m vs XAG P100 pro its 80m (does it make much of a difference? Is this why it can't match XAG with terrain following at 13.8m/s? - . so will it glitch out and crash if its to dusty from getting confused? - Swath width is the same as the XAG - Smaller batteries on the J100 (How much does that effect flight time for ferrying?) - Is there other disks to get a higher than 300 microns like the T50 or P100 pro? Seems to fine of a droplet to be a max micron size Don't know the price but seems like a okay starter drone to start with if it's at least 15k cheaper than the DJI or XAG!
@AgriSprayDrones14 сағат бұрын
We have a whole series of comparisons coming out very soon! The J100 is phenomenal at terrain following as well as obstacle avoidance. Cost is slightly above the T50, but make no mistake: this is not a starter drone. The J100 is a superior design and build to both other systems.

Show it in the hills! Is there a route segmentation like DJI has to fly two drones in the same field? Is there a mobile app so that you can pre-plan fields like DJI has? Can they change the software to have a bigger droplet size?
@AgriSprayDrones3 күн бұрын
Hill and obstacle demos coming. It has both route segmentation and split field function to operate multiple. Not a mobile app, but a web app, actually a couple for different functions. Field planning is one of them. You can actually already get larger droplets by removing the outer disc and increasing droplet setting to 300. It is definitely putting out larger than 300 when you do that. EAV has a list of things that they are in progress of updating on their software.

You can do boundary passes like Dji and you can also do manual mission point to point routes so you can actually tell the drone the route to fly and spray so you could essentially do multiple boundary passes

Id like to see it with the 16gal tank on it and spray a full tank at 2gpa through hills and over/around a pivot or other obstacles. Also how does it respond to low battery, if its on the other end of the field, does it know when to come back and land safely before it hits 0%. Some drones when you set 15% as the RTH, itll head for home at 15% and others will land at 15%. Dont wanna see it fall out of the sky cause it cant make it back

I think you’re missing the mark on this drone. What you’re looking at there is something that is rushed to market and I’m a tell you this I think that I could build my own drone better than the ones I see coming out now. There’s enough tech out there even on KZbin and I’m getting my part 137 so it’s not gonna be that hard like things used to be difficult beyond belief. I wanna stick with DJI or an XAG

The LIDAR could be awesome for spraying trees and orchards in hilly terrain though but it'll take a year or more to work out all the bugs just like every other drone. The T50 is still having issues.
