I'd have let them make their own universes, on the condition that they never return. Use the faith that's coming from the living humans in their realms to empower a shield to keep the others out/their own realms hidden... I just accidentally created the Outer Gods, didn't I? Sh**. Abandon all hope, for humanity-thulu shall devour all. XD

Humanity: boredom leads to conflict which leads to innovation which leads to happiness which leads to complacency which morphs into boredom. I would say that the gods would be better off making something that eats human souls but it would die from indigestion a couple souls in.

I know this won't come across right by text but it a part of a song I have slowly been working on over the years to get through work but it's fitting for any Reaper interaction "What so I do when the reaper comes a knocking? Why you say not today, no, not today old friend..." and the other half to this chorus "What do I do when the reaper comes a knocking? Why I say today's the day! Yes, today's the day, my dear friend..." the rest is a broken heap of lyrics about essentially fighting against and then just giving into a murderous rampage with a sword like bladed interment as deaths right hand... all in all I don't know why I decided to make it sung in a old-timey bard type nor do I know why so much of it rhymes. But it's the only peace of music I have ever put any amount of evert into, well besides being able to play hot cross buns on the recorder with my nose in first grade but that was 20 years ago... I need to stop writing comments when I'm this blazed these are way to long... BUT *FOR THE MIGHTY ALGORITHM!!!*

Ah not Our Father , one of his helpers. He like s sharing the work, IDK why don't ask me. Well DUH! Humanity ever had one true god. We pile corpses regularly in his honour. Poor pitiful pretenders what chance have they ? We know a true God, how can we be satisfied with pretenders? Chaining them wont help, why don't you try recycling them? I hear it all the rage in some places. Erase the memories and have then be reborn.

Story 2: I agree with a lot of viewers below. Just use the souls up for something. Nothing says heaven is eternal, and if you can bind the souls,.you can definitely burn them. Burn away the will with a pseudo life and give the soul a second death, recycling the faith into something else. Problem solved. The human ceases to be bored because they cease and the power of their faith, while lost, served a purpose.
@chronred8190

you have made a very horrible mistake with that idea-some souls, such as myself, are fuelled not only by the negativity of others but also their own; trying to overwhelm them will lead them to becoming more and more emotional, and more, and more. and with a soul no longer contained to a physical body... it is only a matter of time before it's emotion burns so bright it consumes all the chains and gods completely overloading everything meant to contain it
@Exile_Sky
@Exile_Sky 11 ай бұрын
@@chronred8190 Your issue is you are stuck on the "the soul is eternal" shtick. A lot of fantasy runs counter to that and even the old faiths of humanity run counter to that. The "soul is eternal" shtick didn't come around until the later reformation of Christianity. Before that, the soul had never been immortal, and before that we didn't have the same concept of a soul or will being direct separate from the person themselves. If Faith is reality, and reality is perception, just change the way humans perceive their own souls. All of a sudden, the soul's own Faith game ends them regardless of your "negativity". It isn't even that hard to do given we did it ourselves over time with some really poorly devised propaganda. The second bit is "negativity." There's nothingy negative about putting the soul in a furnace that makes them live a second life and believe that they end completely at the end of that second life, and thus their belief and "faith" comes into effect again. If they believe it, they have faith that it will occur, then it will occur. With what we are presented, the rules of the story's own world would demand it to be so.

@@Exile_Sky i am not sure what the soul is to you, but to me it's conscience with energy; simply just that. it's not just some spectre like in some depictions or anything like that, it doesn't even have a specific shape it can become anything. and i genuinely think that cannot really be killed, it's not related to story that i think it's immortal i truly see the idea of it somehow dying, of essentially denying all science, reason and logic from my point of view, as... completely irrational and, taking myself as an example, i was always the type of person that learns through strictly personal experience; i almost never go by what others say, but rather directly what i am going through. such as for example the soul thing-multiple people have tried to convince me of nothing being after death and us being gone completely, however i don't believe that at all due to multiple odd events, and because it just doesn't make any sense for me to develop a conscience and that conscience to simply disappear into nothingness when we die andnoidon'tcareabouttheideaofgodorwhateverelsedoingthingsthatwedon'tunderstand,that'sjusttryingtomakeexcuses
@Exile_Sky

@@chronred8190 You: "just doesn't make any sense for me to develop a conscience and that conscience to simply disappear into nothingness when we die " You not one string of thought prior: "of essentially denying all science, reason and logic from my point of view, as... completely irrational " Science dictates that our brain chemistry is our mind and a "soul" as it is described does not exist. It's not a matter of convincing you, that is the hard biological and physical fact. A "soul" is a fantasy, a myth, make believe. That you think a fantasy doesn't end, well.. that's on you. Just keep the words "reason", "rationality", and labeling someone else's ideas as "illogical" out of your lexicon and argumentation. You aren't even using reason, rationality, or logic, you are using emotion. "I feel it." Well reality doesn't care about what you feel. Just like under the stories own premise there is no reason you couldn't convince humanity that heaven is a second life where at the end they find eternal rest or that the power of faith doesn't have limits (since it seems to).
