@@jameson1239 I would say violence is allowed, as long as it doesn't involve destruction of property. So no spilled drinks, no broken tables, and no other collateral damage - otherwise you would have to pay the bill for all you destroyed, on top of food and drinks.

I dislike stories where everyone knows, or can see what's going on, but the reader is left in the dark. How many times are "the two rules" mentioned? 5 or 6? But they are never explained. Just left there as and inside joke that the reader is not let in on.
