If humanity obtained technology that could withstand all of the galaxy's fire power without any scratch, while also being able to demolishing all opposition with a single attack, it wouldn't be too far-fetched to believe they have obtained technology to practically become immortal, so with immortality in mind, having one single goal for a whole civilization isn't too impossible, except for the simple fact that humanity is ruled by the natural law called "change".
@slashmonster05283 жыл бұрын
Well let’s say this they didn’t have any other culture than the one of the fathers and they also got space age tech no resources to go to war over no opposing ideals no history just one similar goal

@@slashmonster0528 The one thing I don't get is how they learned of their purpose, I suppose the whole "Father" thing was a naming choice of theirs, but the whole purpose, perhaps they had a chat with the target, even though it weren't explicitly stated. As for the year thing, they must have counted the galatic calendar differently since the trap set in and warped space around them, so they were locked up for about 15 000 years.

This is a wonderful twist on the common trope that it requires external enemies to bring humans together. I can easily imagine humanity declaring a jihad on any alien attackers. Given an ongoing, existential threat we can't communicate with, we'd make their extermination our primary goal.
