Great review, Lawrence. I had the vixen long. Shooting 50mm spinning targets 60 metres with no problem. Very accurate brilliant air rifle. I've just purchased the BSA Ultra clx Pro Wilderness 177 calibra now that's accurate 👌 Fantastic stock. I can see why Peter's impressed with the laminate green. Very nice. That's was also a great review too 👍

Actually prefer these videos when only one of you does the presenting - the delivery of information speeds up - no criticism intended, the videos just seem more focused. I’m in the market for a new pcp and I’ve watched several reviews but seem to have missed reference to the distance you shoot over at the end, it appears to be inside so I assume quite short?

Does it need a mod in your opinion or is it wisper quiet. ( i do pest control) its important to me .

Hi, it depends on the distance. FAC in .22 still has a bit of sound, non the lese backyard friendly or farm friendly if you like. Sub 12 should be more quiet. Hope it helps really love mine after a year.

@rossu1957 hi mate, I mostly shoot hades pellets. It's accurate up to 70 yards under ideaal conditions. That means hardly any wind. Still need to try slugs.

Does the Agt vixen tank have a burst disc? How long do those fiber wrapped tanks stay safe? If I have it next to my head it would feel safer if there was a burst disc….

Has anyone noticed that up north the price is 1295 pounds but has you get nearer London the price goes up 1350 pounds ??? This profiteering must be called out !!

Airmaks Katran. I have the Vixen, but I like the looks of the Katran. Looks quite sharp with a wood stock. I have no complaints about how the Vixen handles or shoots. It’s very easy to shoot offhand.
