That is to protect grace from giving a bad answer to a question that she's not prepared for. One bad answer could destroy her career. All celebrity interview questions are scripted.

I just realized something. That distinctive break in Grace's voice may be a sign of her voice changing. She may lose that very soon. That would be unfortunate because I find that very appealing.
