They run like that for a few reasons because the ball is a lot bigger than an nfl ball and so they can pass it or kick it if needed
@dane1056 Жыл бұрын
Thats exactly right. They hold the ball like that to make sure they can pass it when they need to.

There is types of techniques of holding the ball where some hold the ball in a freely motion whilst running ready to pass it away or switch hands holding the ball, the other technique is tucking it in for the setplay or holding the ball with 2 hands.

Nothing wrong with comparing rugby and American football, after all American football started off as Rugby.

American football smaller than a rugby ball, Kick pass is called “chip & chase”
@SnipezClipz72 жыл бұрын
Mainly because a rugby ball is bigger so they have to hold it like that

Cradling the ball that way is just a natural reaction to.. 1: Be able to throw passes during gameplay 2: Use the other arm to fend off tacklers 3: To 'Offload' the ball even after being tackled (Draw & Pass) Draw & Pass is a basic skill you learn, To draw the extra defender. Johnson plays for the only New Zealand team in the Australian NRL - National Rugby League. In Rugby League, each team has 6 chances to score a 'TRY' - points, before turning the ball over. Each TRY is worth 4pts, then a conversion kick after each try worth 2pts. During general game play a 'drop-kick' is typically used to break tyed-points, in game that is close to ending. Also to avoid extra-time. Check out the NRL KZbin page for weekly games. Games typically start on Thursday nights through to Sunday. www.youtube.com/@NRL The Womens competition has also started with plenty of quality games there too. www.youtube.com/@NRLW/videos

American 🏈 the tuck it like that because they have to hold on to it throughout usually running backs and receivers 99% of the time they’re not gonna pass it again. But I’m Rugby 🏉, you’re constantly looking for support or you have to pass the ball to all the time, so ball carriers has to move the ball around in order to release in a easy way, That doesn’t mean it’s vulnerable to fumbles, they hardly do!

Cool Reactions Bro😃. SHAUN JOHNSONS position in Rugby League is Halfback which is the number 7. His role in the team is to set up his teammates to score a try and also he kicks the ball in every fifth tackle plays because his the halfback #7. That's why his already skilled when comes to kicking the ball because its his job to kick the ball. And he is always passing the ball to his teammates to set them up for try's. He sometimes fools the opposition team completely when he throws the dummy pass and goes for a run because his always passing to his teammates. Other teams halfbacks #7 do the same to there opposition team somethings. They throw dummy passes and go for a Run. Rugby League is not like the NFL. There is no stoppage in the game. They keep playing for the full 80minutes. 40minutes for the first half and 40minutes for the second half. Unlike the NFL where they pass the ball forward to a receiver. In Rugby League players are only allowed to pass the ball backwards or horizontal to there teammates. If a forward pass is thrown to a player your team loses the ball. The same rule applies when someone kicks the ball. When a player kicks the ball only teammates behind the kicker can contest for the ball. They even score off kicks doing this. There's one more important rule i forgot to mention. For a Try to count as a point players must actually place the ball on the ground with there hands placed on the ball. They must not loss the ball when trying to ground it. That's why players usually dive on the ground when in the opposition try line. Bro can you React to Benji Marshalls Best Moments. This guy is Shaun Johnsons Idol. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGizl4CZhJyCf5I

Shaun has not even won a premiership nor any accolades during his whole season, you must be a kiwifruit. Name one award he has won besides the team awards haha.

Because when u swinning your arms you ran faster but not as fast as u would if your weren't carrying the ball. And to make sure if u need to pass balls in 2 hands... NFL u don't really besides the qb and he throws it forward we have to pass backwards
