Where you score in the “end zone” horizontally determines where you kick from to convert. Ideally between the posts as less chance for wind to affect the kick.

I would say between the posts as it means your closer to them from a distance standpoint. But also wind :)

@unclemay66483 жыл бұрын
yea most of the jerseys you see even thought they different colours is the same team NZ WArriors. if you see him in Black he will be on the National team called the Kiwi's that represents New Zealand at the national level but NRL he is NZ warriors at the time i think he currently now is a Shark but he has lost his stepping finesse ever since he broke his foot years ago and got older. most clubs in the NRL have a anually redesign of their uniforms while lots of clubs keep their same colours others change a bit Warriors probably changes the most.

A score is called a Try! If you score in between the goal post, then the conversion kick is straight on. If you score on the outside, the conversion kick is from a more difficult angle. You kick conversions a straight light from where the ball was touched down in the try zone.

Rugby refs run their asses off. Somewhere around 12 miles. Think about it he not only runs up and down the field but side to side too. Players pass and kick the ball across the field and run in pretty much in straight lines. The ref is zigging znd zagging the whole way. While doing all that running they have to think like a judge and a diplomat at the same time. Hats off to them.

All the teams on this video are the New Zealand Warriors, (home and away), representative, (NZ Kiwis), plus NRL special occasion versions, (eg: pink were for the Women in League round, green for the indigenous round, etc) . Johnson left the club 3 years ago for a stint with the Cronulla Sharks, but has recently signed to return to the Warriors for the next 2 years. Welcome back Shaun. The guy in pink running beside Johnson you asked about is the referee and yes, they are athletes in their own right. Fast and fit.

Answer to your question about scoring between the posts. There is a conversion kick after a try is scored. This kick is taken from wherever the try is scored from the 20 meter line e.g if you score a try on the sideline then your kick is taken from the sideline so scoring under the posts is the best as you have a conversion directly in front of the posts
@RareSoulTV4 жыл бұрын
okay, that helps make it make sense
@williamkokaua43644 жыл бұрын
Actually the scoring between the posts was for the 10's. A 10 a side tournament instead of the normal 13 a side. You did get more points for scoring between the posts. All those tries were for the same team. The New Zealand Warriors. He now plays for the Cronulla Sharks.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 26 yrs old....played at a successful club in Australia won premierships and left the club to come back to his home of New Zealand to play for the WARRIORS who have never won a premiership. In his second year there he became captain at 23 yrs of age ....he will go down as New Zealand’s best player in history when his career is over . He has the best footwork in the competition, fast , try saving tackler , always finishes on the top as most metres run end of the season.. he now has the record for most meters in a single 80 min game in history with 367 metres and best of all he’s considered to be one of the sports greats because in a team who don’t have too much success he’s always the best player on the field , gives 100% and let’s his game do the talking ( other teams have great support ) he tends to do it all on his own. In 2018 he won MVP of the season ( the Ceremony at the end of the video ) even though his team didn’t make the playoffs that year ..in 2019 he won best international player , 1 of the highest earning players in the game and at only 26 years old it’s scarey how good he will end up being ... . With the Nrl being an Australian Comp with 1 New Zealand team , a month ago the warriors had to leave their families and country to move to Australian so the NRL competition could resume during Covid 19 .. since international travel was banned by both countries .the only sporting team in the world who are doing that . With no idea when they will next see their families and potentially having to stay in Australia for 20 weeks the leadership Roger Tuivasa Sheck has shown is inspirational ! They gave sacrificed the most for the competition.I’m so proud to call the NZ warriors my club . Here is the journey of my favourite player RTS ♥️ ... kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4vCeaVvebVpbcU p.s the commentary shows how good he actually is , these are rugby league legends commenting on his ability .

The same statistics show that Johnson at one point hit almost 35km/h or 21.75 mph as he reeled in Michael Jennings in the first half, despite the Origin centre having a significant start on him, following a dropped ball by the Warriors. Also Shaun Johnson had a Groin Injury at the time he ran down Michael Jennings. Wonder how fast he would have been with out that Groin Injury (Shaun half the time during those days always had a Groin Injury kinda was his niggling Kryptonite)

Where you touch the ball down over the try line aka score the Try aka Touchdown it matters on placement of the conversion kick aka field goal so if you score under the post the ball will be placed on the line IN front of the location of the touchdown. so if you score on near the sideline the ball will be placed on the side and the field goal target shrinks making that kick for extra points harder. so the more you score in the middle the easier your field goal kick will be to score more points. (in rugby dam near everything matters even thought at first glance it doesnt seem like it. Sean Tyler you have a dam good eye to ask a question such as "does it matter where you score" almost nobody askes that. Sean Johnson is playing a vital position that would be close to NFL quarterback so he kicks. he passes and orcastrates the team players offence and runs. most 7's just mainly lead around the players Johnson was similar to your NFL quarterbacks that liked to run the ball and run out of the pocket more than stay in pocket and pass i guess is the analogy i could translate to (hard cause the games are so different in almost every way.) Oh forgot no you dont get more points for running in between them again its ball placement for your extra points conversion kicks. and meters is bigger than yards wink wink (not by that much but over 100 meters vs 100 yards is so 100 meters is infact 109.3Yards) so if you looking up 40 yard dash stats and comparing them to 40 meter yard dash stats you need to convert them.
