Agust D is literally talking about everything that is wrong in the world right now. Since hageum is an traditional instrument but also means liberation of prohibition. He is really asking who's on board for the revolution, for the new world, for the new kingdom and to get on board now. So we can fix everything that is broken. This is a masterpiece. The lyrics and wordplay are incredible. This is what rap in my humble opinion should be. A way of making people aware of all the social, economical issues and more. And Suga just did that. Salute.

Hi. This is my take on this. The king from daechwita and Agustd got reincarnated in the present. The king still remains to be a powerful individual in the present. This can be seen when he was coming out of the police station. The police office at the door saluted to him. Agustd in the present seems to be an undercover cop. At first you would think that he's a bad guy but as the mv progresses, you will see that he laid a trap for the reincarnated king. At the end of the video, Agustd was able to defeat the reincarnated king (who is now a corrupt high ranking officer) just like what happened in daechwita. I assumed that the reincarnated king was corrupt because he got pissed when Agustd burned the money he took from the reincarnated king's people. Another proof that Agustd has the role of an undercover cop is the scene at the last part of the mv. He was in a police car but was free to get off of it to eat at a restaurant. Therefore, he is not being arrested but escorted. As for the song, the words used were very good. I guess he was trying to say that our society is filled with hypocrisy, greed, and jealousy. People only support and believe in things that would benefit them. Our society frowns upon a lot of things (therefore the term forbidden was used). I guess Agustd is saying that it is okay to do such things as long you don't overindulge and hurt others. The real evil people are those like the reincarnated king who use their money or/and influence to benefit themselves even to the point that they are causing harm to society. In the end Agustd killed the reincarnated king and was supported by the people in scene. I guess Agustd was implying that through his own means (maybe through his songs and good deeds) he will try to fight injustice with the help of the people who agree with his beliefs. Well , that was how I interpreted everything, but I may be wrong. LOL. As for the song, I soooooo love it.

Yeah, that's about the vibe I was getting- low-ranking guy takes on high-ranking corrupt guy (scar-king) and sets a trap for him. Taking the money was definitely a lure. I like how Agust D brought his six 'bruisers' along to help clear the way and establish that though he's not on the scarred king's level, he's got some clout of his own. Also I like how everything around him is bright and colorful compared to the plain black suit and darker lighting. To me that's saying creativity and artistry vs closed, rigid thinking. The lyrics are pure fire, I'm loving the distinction he's putting between 'freedom' and 'self-indulgence', and telling us that if we cling too hard to our convictions in everything we do, we're going to harm other people with our entitlement and damage ourselves as well, perhaps unknowingly. He is so absolutely right, and this really needs to be shouted from the rooftops!

The guy that calls the cops, is the guy that at the end is dunking Suga’s head in the water. This is why when Suga leaves with the bag of money, he gives him a look ,thus sparing his life. He later provides him with the gun that kills Scar Corrupted Cop Suga. This is the parallel with Daechwita , The butcher at the market who is in cohoots with Suga , and at the end is supposed to chop his head (as demanded by Blonde King Suga), actually ends up giving him the gun to kill the king. So basically it’s the same concept. The pose of corrupted cop Suga on the balcony, is reproducing the pose of king Suga on the temple’s balcony as he watches the funky car swirling in. Of course the fire tanks are the same as in Daechwita, the chicken, the possy……In the end, Suga seems to be an undercover cop that orchestrated all this to filter out the corrupted cop Suga, and that’s what he’s being driven freely in the police car( not getting arrested). Well…at least that’s what I got out of this video( maybe I’m wrong). Heageum = freeing the restrictions, and in this case , freeing from the corrupted system . The IDOL system??? What do you think?

1) What an actor he is !! His looks towards the camera, his face expressions, his body language! 2) Haegeum is about liberating, but listening the song in itself is already so liberating!! “Haegeum” about liberating ourselves from external constraints, and “Set me free pt2” about freeing ourselves from our own internal constraints: Yoongi and Jimin will save us time in therapy 😉 Watching “set me free pt2” MV is also extremely liberating for me (as a dancer too, I guess) … 3) I’ve been dancing for 50 years, now, and I can tell who is a “Dancer in his body” ; since I met BTS, I noticed that Yoongi was a real dancer (and Tae), even not having the dance background of Jimin or Hoseok : he has such an Energy, and he knows how to convey a feeling through his moves. So, this man creates music, lyrics, can dance and “play” (is it the good word for “acting” in a movie ?), knows what he wants to show us in a MV/movie, and can appear very hot, or classy, or just dazzle us with his peculiar genuine smile … HE HAS EVERYTHING! Yes, we are seeing Agust D's final part of his trilogy. The King in Daewichta rules over the land. He is killed by Agust D, who then becomes the "Boss". Now we have SUGA take out the Boss, thus ending the reign of Agust D. As he has stated, he will perform and record as SUGA and/or Yoongi from this day forward.
