@@BrendrumJones bought one of these on your recommendation. I didn’t go with the round one though. Got the motorcycle seat with a back rest. Wow it’s like night and day! Hip pain gone and I can play for as long as I like! Thanks again!

after the first minute of this review - " night & day" " not a gimmick, it really works (or similar words) " "if that's all you need to know, you can just got out & buy this" - well I have. I can't decide on 3 legs or 4.... any thoughts? I detest wobbly stools which seems to be most of them!😅

I found this one very good, and Gibraltar are solid. I did a review on a mapex one I had it was terrible

Contrary to popular belief 3 legged thrones are more stable than their 4 legged counterparts. Especially if you are on a stage/riser which is not perfectly even. 4 legged stools may always have one leg that is not completely flush with the floor, hence more unstable. Hope the advice isn't too late 🙂

Tell me if you prefer the round over the saddle and why also what do people say. I've owned both Styles over my career. I have a roc n soc saddle bicycle style and the DW round style that is the firm version. I think I prefer the round but I'm actually still not sure. I think size of the person may I have something to do with it? I am about 5 ft 10 with a 30 inch waist and 165 lb. That said, sometimes the excessively large size could be much for smaller people like wearing pants that are too big? I don't know I also think maybe because of my small hips potentially a 13 inch could be ideal even in the round Style. Let me know your thoughts sir as I was thinking of going to my local store to buy one but they only have the saddle

Both Thomas Lang and Brandon Green prefer round thrones because they provide more support to your hamstrings. In Brandon's video he actually shows that round thrones provide way more leg range of motion compared to saddle thrones, as on saddle thrones, more of your weight is towards the front.

I recently bought an Tama imperialstar. I think it's a great set for a beginner but the throne sucks! There's like 1 inch of padding on it and I'm a smaller dude at 165lbs. I want to get a nice comfortable seat but I don't know how much money I want to shell out

​​@@lobbyrobbyI got the same Tama Imperialstar set like yourself last year with that cheap throne that comes with it. It was very uncomfortable, especially with my back problems. Now, I just set up my new Spinal-G throne with back rest last night. WOW, it's night and day. Super comfortable with no pain at all. Incredible!
