I am so glad that they are appreciating SOULMATE. This band is one of the best of all time to have ever come out of India. NorthEast has kept the scene alive in India.

The interview took the turn when Raman started talking about his engineering days raging and influence of his seniors on his music... That part was special

If anuv jain gang aspires to shit on this, bring it on. But that guy is UNINTENTIONALLY responsible for bringing out the whole ukulele music scene and just making so many people believe that average songwriting and effort lacking music will make you big. The whole gen Z just sucks up to that genre so much that now quality hardworking artists can just wish to have that exposure, appreciation and value for money. The scene needs to change and a wave needs to shift asap.

I think Raman can't show his guitar skills in local train . His guitar riffs and solos in EK DIN is awesome 😎. I know Paras is great but Raman also should be recognised for guitar solos...he love both singing and Guitar 🎸 especially guitar and song writing for sure

Brilliant interview. Loved how every aspect here was kept so candid and at the same time covered the major aspects of Indian Rock bands and their evolution. I don't normally watch an hour or so long interview but my eyes were glued to the screen. Kudos to the interviewer and Raman Negi is an absolute babe.

25 year old here. Lovely to see the mention of Mark Knopfler and Pink Floyd! Cheers. I don't know a single friend who listens to Mark Knopfler. Also, Old Bollywood music gets a lot of credit where it's not due. A lot of eternal songs were just western rip offs.

6:00 I support Anuv Jain - Mr. Negi. Music is not always about the mixture of riffs/drums/bass. Sometimes, beautiful guitar/ukulele only composition with amazing lyrics (although you made joke of them but better than Urdu stuff), makes the amazing music.

He is not jealous. Anuv Jain ka lyrics bhout immature lagta hain honestly. It's like One direction ( bacho ko hi acha lagta hain )
