Jesus Christ is coming back! Are we ready? God wants to save you. We must repent before it’s too late. Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His own blood for you. He loved you so much to lay down His life for you. So that we can be saved! His precious blood cleans us from our sins and brings redemption! Then He rose from the dead and He’s coming back! Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour today. God bless you.

Just for information's sake: Lucas Van Foreest comes from the noble Van Foreest family. He is the great-great grandson of Arnold van Foreest and great-great grandnephew of Dirk van Foreest. Both Arnold and Dirk were three-time Dutch Chess Champions. His eldest brother, Jorden (born 1999), became the youngest chess grandmaster in Dutch history at the age of 16, and won the Dutch Chess Championship at age 17 in 2016. His sister, Machteld, won the Dutch Girls' U10 Championship at the age of 6 and shared second place in the Dutch Girls' U20 Championship when she was 9. In 2017, she became the first girl ever to win the Dutch U12 Championship. In 2022, she won the Dutch Women's Championship. -- Wikipedia

Mistakes in the Opening part of the Game definitely lead to having a tough game and of course can determine the tempo and advantage one player has over the other didn’t work out well for White gave Black the advantage and momentum he needed sure is representative of games I’ve played starting off Great or making a blunder that costs me a Game I think most Good players learn from this and come back and play a stronger game Thanks Agadmator Always enjoy watching Enjoy your day as well

Engine evaluates the position at -2. A winning position for black, but not so dominant as to demand resignation. Foreest should have fought for a draw on this one. At least make Harsha prove the win.

The only time i play like grand master is when grand master make a mistakes
@pranayrawat1 Жыл бұрын
this is what happens when GM's rely more on memorization of openings and their variations instead of relying on creativity over the board and understanding the position. Old masters didnt played with high accuracy because they didnt memorized openings and remained creative and true to their playing style like anderssen like attacking so he always played risky and capablanca like endgames so he used to avoid complex middlegame but nowadays every one wants to play in same style for e.g come out of opening equally and dont lose pawns and blunder pieces in the middlegame and only show some creativity if left based on position in the endgame. This modern GM's have done nothing incredible rather than making the game LOOK BORING. Engines like Alphazero have showed us that attacks like tal, kasparov , fischer or bronstein is still possible no matter what opening do you play. As a Chess lover its very sad to see that Grandmasters who are the sole promoters of this game are making this game boring and drawish day by day.....the only thing they care about is their ELO rating and nothing else.
Жыл бұрын
Attacking like Alphazero is only possible if you can calculate like an engine. It is completely false there is no more risk in chess, just diferent styles. We just saw a WCC full of action, for instance... This is the age of computers and it has its characteristics as any other chess era, but it is not boring, just more precise. You may enjoy it less, though, but it is a completely personal appreciation.

You can get 2 pieces for the queen. Bf3, Ne2+,Be2, Q moves, Nxc3. Still not winning. But if this is a blitz game you keep fighting.
@gwynj Жыл бұрын
Not sure... that exchange is +3, pretty bad... but I think black is better taking the rook (for the queen), then grabbing the pawn and rook... Bxe2, Qxd1, Bxd1, Bxb2, any move, Bxa1 which is +8 i think.
@MrK623 Жыл бұрын
Black wins the game. I am just saying white can get 2 pieces for the Q instead of resigns. He is lost anyway. Sometimes you need to fight on, and if you have extra minor pieces you can cause problems.

2nd comment: 2016 WCC - This is relevant to the 2023 WCC. Please agad cover the other decisive game of the Sergey Karjakin vs Magnus Carlsen 2016 WCC (Game 10, w/c was won by Magnus, the future TALENTLESS patzer for being 4x reigning WCC at the time of losing 3x classical games in a row to Wesley So a nobody 'w'esley 's'o who got only 1 win in the 2018 candidates). #suggestion What happened is that Magnus lost to Sergey AS WHITE in Game 8 but then compensated for a white loss with A WHITE WIN in Game 10. This is what happened to Ding Liren & Nepo for Games 2 & 4 of the 2023 WCC. Fun fact for Game 8 - 'After the game Carlsen was visibly uncomfortable and left the press conference before it began, potentially incurring a fine of 5% of his prize money to the organizers Agon, and a further 5% to FIDE.[59] FIDE released a statement the following day indicating that the penalty would be imposed.[61] The fine was reduced on appeal to 5% of the prize money (2.5% to Agon and 2.5% to FIDE).[62]' For Game 10: Wesley So has some interesting thoughts that DEFY STOCKFISH, as Wesley So did in 2021 St Louis Chess 9LX with the move that won the chessc*m 2021 move of the year award. (Wesley So thinks white 'still had an edge' even though the computer says black is slightly winning.) Some maths: Why doesn't a drawn match go to the player w/ more black wins (if any) s.t. Sergey Karjakin not Magnus Carlsen is 2016 WCC? Surely a black win is worth more than a white win. But you might argue 2 draws with black amounts to a win with black. Does it? No question about it in chess960, where there's no theory. In chess? Gestalt psychology says the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. --- Other suggestions: Women's chess A - Was Kg6 in Dina's 1st GM slaying game in Reykjavik sexism? Like looking down on Dina? B - Anna Cramling's dad beats Mikhail Tal. #suggestion C - Philippine women's chess #suggestion - WGM Janelle Frayna, the female Wesley So, upset Georgian GM (really GM not just WGM) Bela Khotenashvili at the 2022 world blitz. There's a 13-move UNDERPROMOTION puzzle here. [Variant "From Position"] [FEN "6k1/6b1/1p1P3p/6pP/3pPpP1/p2NqP2/6K1/5Q2"] 1. Qd1 a2 2. Qb3+ Kf8 3. d7 Qe2+ 4. Nf2 Ke7 5. Qd5 Kd8 6. Qe6 Bf6 7. But Janelle did cover the game where e drew against Nemo, so maybe Janelle will cover this game later on. P.S. Please help get Wesley So on Lex Fridman's podcast. See xcdhgq
