Thank you very much for reacting on the best and most famous singer of the East, one of his titles is “The Diamond of the East”, given to Ahmad Zahir by the King of Iran, the Shah, Reza Pahlavi. He was the first artist who fused the Western and the Eastern Music in the early 1960’s. He fused the Western instruments with the Eastern instruments like Trumpet, Saxophone, Guitar, Base guitar, Banjo, Piano, Organ, Accordion, violin, flute, drum sets, etc with the Eastern instruments like Tabla, Dohl or Dohlac, Zirbaghli, Sitar, tanboor, Harmonia, Ghichak, Chang, Sarangi, Nay or Tula, and later in his life, in the early 1970’s, he also used keyboard, synthesizer, etc. He also played himself around 8 to 9 different instruments.
