That Vette did super well in these races given it grips the worst of the three. American V8’s have so much top end torque it almost doesn’t surprise me it made these races competitive. Really is no replacement for displacement

Facts irl about these 3 cars 👇🏼 C6 ZR1 (with 3ZR 2013 package) : managed to hit 214 MPH on Nevada public road (same road that Agera RS tested its top speed later on) Carera GT : never had ABS or any safety for the driver , it was basically the a True German Viper on road and that's so deadly , proof ? paul walker and all racers before him . SV : its real top speed is 317 KPH not 341 KPH as all idiots say or google , the one who hit 341 KPH was SV without the spoiler and with tuned suspension for top speed high termac with all holes got covered to increase the top end , that info got confirmed by jeremy clarkson himself in one of his episodes , that the real SV with track pack which comes standard on it because it's SV , can't hit a true 200 MPH barrier , it was designed to be on tracks not top speed straight lines like ZR1 . fun fact too : C6 ZR1 managed to keep up with it in a video on YT and it was tailing it even on the track and was behind the SV about 0.3 Seconds as the video showed , to the point it closed the gap and passed the SV on some turns like hammerhead turn . another fact : C6 Z06 beat the Zonda F and R which are way faster than SV on that track too by the same driver (Stig) who drove all these cars as we all know .
