Ahmadiyya Muslims allege persecution in Pakistan, demand justice at UNHRC

Pakistan has been exposed at the UNHRC meeting in Geneva, where Ahmadiyya community members spoke about the atrocities on them in Pakistan. They demanded justice during a side event organised on the margins of the 42nd session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva as they are being targeted in Pakistan. Earlier, several other minority groups including the Pashtuns had protested in Geneva.

We have no problem with Qadyani. We just say that they cannot claim to be muslim. The definition of being muslim is very clear in constitution of Pakistan. If they fulfill criteria then there is no problem. But they don’t accept that. Would any of my gentle men here accept that someone violate Indian Constitution? Would anyone tolerate that someone preach other religion by name of hinduism? Would any of you like that somebody kill your family member and then say Don’t give me punishment according to Indian Constitution because I don’t accept that? I never ever said anything about any religion. Justice Bhagwan Das who is a hindu but had been Chief Justice of Pakistan. No one even raised a question because he was clear about his path and we respect that. But if anyone come and utter your religion definition then how will you feel? Just try to understand this.

All Muslims are followers of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (saw). He have never stopped someone from declaring themselves as Muslim nor declare a person who prays five times a day, read the book of Allah (Holy Quran), give Zakaat, fast in the month of Ramadan perform Haaj as Kafir. According to the teachings of Holy Quran, everybody who acts about 5 pillars of Islam have rights to declare themselves as Muslims but not as Momins. If Allah have unprohibited something, who can prohibited what Allah have agreed upon?
