GBI Agent Jason Seacrist continued testimony under examination from William "Roddie" Bryan's lawyer on Nov. 15, 2021 in the trial of the killing of Ahmaud Arbery.
Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Cellphone video leaked to the public shows two armed white men in a truck approaching the 25-year-old Black man as he runs down the road. One of the men, later identified as Travis McMichael, and Arbery struggle over McMichael's shotgun before Arbery is shot and collapses.
Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael and William "Roddy" Bryan, who recorded the video, are all charged with murder in Arbery's death.

All testimony in a jury trial, is for the jury's benefit. It is the jury who will determine the verdict, based on that testimony, plus all other evidence admitted. So the testimony is NOT really, for the attorneys asking the questions, nor for even the judge. It is for the jury members. So why NOT speak the answers to the jury??
@Bergen98
@Bergen98 2 жыл бұрын
You see that with witnesses who are from the state because they know that it is the jury who must understand their point. Other witnesses, civilians and etc, usually look at someone who asks the question or the judge

The defense is surprised that this one Judge didn't allow them to continue the whitewashing. It started with responding officers letting murderers leave the crime scene. @Lee Ving I'd work on your spelling and surface level grammar a bit before tossing out 'idiot' aspersions. Not only does this lazy approach in expressing your opinion underscore the irony of your position, it is an indication that you haven't been paying attention to the evidence in the trial or that you don't understand the nuance of the legal case that was used against the three defandants, the three guilty defendants so says a court of law, one replete with a jury. You understand that the defendants tried to establish that Arbery was in some way guilty of previous crimes, right? That their attempts failed based on the evidence, right? In fact the prosecutor dismantled these flimsy claims in about as thorough a fashion as anyone could have. Yet you parrot the same pathetic claims as if a three week trial hadn't taken place and do so with the emotion of a 5-year-old who just learned how to swear for emphasis. I think you should have a look in the mirror before calling someone else an idiot. "Methinks he doth protest too much" and all that. Look it up. You might learn something.

Remorse for what? - For another person shooting somebody that tried to take a gun? For Ahmads poor upbringing and serial criminal activity and tendency for violence? Are you one of those "He was only jogging" people? Do you really believe that given evidence shows his M.O. is using this ruse in many of his past crimes? Why do you support criminals? Why do you care about criminals so much? That might be something to ask yourself. Bottom line is Ahmad tried to take a gun from somebody which shows he was not only stupid but also his tendency for violence because nobody with an IQ over 60 thinks trying to charge somebody that is holding a gun a good idea. Only a violent idiot would think that he's going to win that battle. Next life maybe Ahmad will wait for police to show up and come up with better ways to commit crimes that don't end up getting him killed.

It is lawful to open carry in Georgia and its also lawful to make a citizens arrest if they thought a felony was commited.
