Attorneys are going over final matters Monday morning, Nov. 22, 2021, ahead of closing arguments in the trial of the killing of Ahmaud Arbery.
Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Cellphone video leaked to the public shows two armed white men in a truck approaching the 25-year-old Black man as he runs down the road. One of the men, later identified as Travis McMichael, and Arbery struggle over McMichael's shotgun before Arbery is shot and collapses.
Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael and William "Roddy" Bryan, who recorded the video, are all charged with murder in Arbery's death.

@Peter Paz That's the very thing that actually makes him a bad lawyer. Just because you are well-read in the statutes means you are a knowledgeable lawyer but being a good lawyer has to do with how well you represent your client. And this man has doomed his client. So not a good lawyer. But hey let's praise racists and call them good lawyers when the actual evidence we have seen from him says he is anything but a good lawyer. I dunno. Call me crazy.

I think he did think of the cameras. I think he was calculated in his comments to get the black community pissed and get people to show up in droves in front of the courthouse. He was hoping to use that as a reason for a mistrial. Folks know that we, at times, act on emotions and he was banking on it. I think he meant it and his obvious consumption of fox news made him too comfortable. I’m so tired of these folks and their need to use the word “woke.” They don’t even know what the hell it means and it’s not a new word. Always a day late.

Sad part is I know Roddy regrets every single part he played in this senseless crime and would give a limb to turn back the hands on the clock to the time where he could've just minded his business however the entire case is hinged on evidence he created, voluntarily informed of and provided. Unfortunately, his novel idea to follow to assist with evidence is the exact same evidence being used against him to crucify him and rightfully so which for some is poetic justice and for him it just sucks.
@2dronetek2
@2dronetek2 2 жыл бұрын
On the cop's body cam THAT DAY you could see the regret on his face and in his voice when he said he didn't know whether they should have chased him. I bet neither of the McMichaels thought that video was going to blow up in their faces like it did. Also, Greg told the cops that Roddie had it all on video before Roddie ever did.

@@2dronetek2 yes you could get the sense that he thought they might've f'd up. They definitely, him especially had plenty of time to decide better unfortunately they continued to make one bad decision after the other and it is that part that's kicking his ass right now. I initially thought they were all good friends that went way back when this all first started but to think all this mess for folks he barely knew got his life in shambles just truly sucks. He may have meant the least harm but its too late to matter now and that's why it pays to mind ya business.

Instead of play by play to the cops while keeping his distance from the McMichaels or better yet keeping his ass on his porch minding his business HE CHOSE to get and stay involved and I know for a fact he regrets that shit😏
