@jfraserfisher3 жыл бұрын
Is he trying to say he was charged because of social media posts and rumours? He sounds like Mark Means who is representing Lori Vallow and sounds like a clown with motions that are wrong, trying to accuse police and public and prosecutor for creating her issues! He is ridiculous. In the video of body cam just released the officer says to him you were just a passer-by? Roddy said not necessarily! Now his lawyer claiming he was just a passer by. It's a joke
@Law0fC00king3 жыл бұрын
What I'm taking from the terrible attempt at articulating his motion, he's saying he was induced into making statements that led to his arrest because of the fears he experienced from threats from social media and national media coverage and that the GBI made unrecorded promises to ensure his safety, to ensure that he wasn't a suspect, maybe even going as far as to promise some sort of immunity (which he knows the GBI can't promise), in an effort to elicit the statement, which the GBI and the State then used against him in charging him in this case. It's a fairly broad argument and I think the prosecutor addresses a lot of this in her objection when she reads that statute and explains the narrowness of the sphere of threats to inducement. Then this joker goes for the real reach with a mob reference.
