Ahmed Deedat has dealt with countless missionaries and he knows when a trick is being played during question time. The man first claims he is a confirmed atheist. Then he questions about Muhammad as the last messenger? As it is clearly stated in the Quran that Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is 'Khatamannabeein' and if you listen carefuly Sheikh Deedat also pointed that out. If this man was sincere he would have read it already. Why the need to question?

Wow I love Ahmed Deedat!!although some people might not understand why brother Deedat answered in such a way it really makes sense... Ive been in dialogues with many people about religion and what not and TRULY some people ask questions they know the answer to, or ask questions just to ask and not to gain any understanding (not talking about agreeing). The problem of the 2nd question is that people who are looking at these comparative religion lectures and debates are in the assumptions that Islam and Christianity have so many common grounds. That the Muslims believe many things that the Christians believes. That is true but not it the way that these Christians or others who looked at it from outside perspective thinks. You see, people first need to understand that the Christianity that you know of now are not the same religion that the Prophet Isa a.s. was preaching. Also another big difference that people need to first understand is that the Prophet Isa a.s. was sent by God to be the prophet for the Jewish people specifically. So many things that he was preaching was intended specifically for the Jews. The Muslims on the other hand, have the same beliefs and faith as what is called in the Quran, "People of The Book". These "People of The Books" are people who truly follows the teachings of al-Tawrāt, al-Zabūr, and al-Injīl. Now I don't want to include the "translated names of these books, Torah, Psalms, and Gospels because people will misinterpret it as the same thing. I don't think there are any 100% authentic copies of these books or teachings anymore in this world as far as I know of. Whatever you find now that claims to be these books are a corruptions of the original teachings. So in conclusion, there are very little common grounds between Islam with Judaism, and Christianity that we know of today. There are semblance of the original teaching from the al-Tawrāt, al-Zabūr, and al-Injīl within Judaism and Christianity but so much of it is twisted and corrupted to the point that it cannot be said to be the religion that preached to believe in the same one true God anymore. This is why the Quran is protected by Allah because it is the only book that will show the true path towards God. The Quran is the last true guidance by Allah for the rest of humanity until the end times. Allah even says this directly in the Quran. After you have understand this, if you look back at all of Ahmed Deedat's letures and debate, you will be able to easily connect the dots of what he is trying to convey. His points within his lectures and debates are already down to the vary basics of plain language. To me that is his brilliance. Because he has a very deep understanding of languages. Especially Arabic, Hebrew, Greek, and English. So is able to fully understand what is said in the Quran, the Bible, the Psalms, and the Torah and be able to fully express and explain it's true meanings within it. So all you truth seeker, take away all your prejudices and biases. Open your mind. Understand that the point of view that I said earlier and look back at Ahmed Deedat's brilliant lectures and debate. You will instantly be able to connect the dots. The rest is just basic rational, logical, and critical thinking. And that is the beauty of Islam and the Quran. It is rational, It is logical, and it asks you to be a critical thinker and ask questions. Where do you need to go to find all the answers? The Quran.

Surah 36:40 It is not permitted to the sun to catch up the moon, nor can the night outstrip the day: Each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to law). He is asking about Muhammad and Jesus so he can feel secure that there are no logical contradictions in the Quran. If he finds no contradictions, then he could possibly convert to Islam, which Deedat did not wish to happen. He was a simple showman, just like Zakir Naik.

It is not my opinion that Deedat and Naik debate knuckleheads. It's fact. Their opponents seem unprepared and are set up to lose. Just look at Naik vs. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Naik and Deedat do bring up valid points in their talks, however they act too arrogant

Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. (Quran 75:3-4) Historically finger print identifying started in the 1800s, 1200 years after emphasis on the finger in this divine book. No way that a man from the desert could have known this fact 1400 yrs ago. This is just one of many such discoveries. You can expose falshehood but not truth.

Must not forget that Deedat came from South Africa, which practiced Apartheid. Whites were by and large Christians in SA, and hence Deedat being a member of the colored community, spoke with full force against their religion. You cannot disassociate Deedat's passion for Islam from his ethnic background and the 2nd class status enjoyed by his community in South Africa. Neverthless his services for Islam were many and he did inspire people all over the world. To give credit where credit is due!

He avoids both questions by playing to his audience. I don't know why anybody listens to this guy, unless they are emotionally swayed by his personality and speaking voice. Wait, oh yeah, that is what keeps these religions alive above most else...dynamic personalities. How is it that supposed 'truth' has to rely on iconic figures to relay it to the masses...because it isn't the truth. Truth and fact have no reliance at all upon such gimmicks. Thank you.
