Ahmed Hoosen Deedat (Arabic: احمد حسين ديدات‎ July 1918 -- 8 August 2005) was a South African writer and public speaker of Indian descent.[1] He was best known as a Muslim missionary who held numerous inter-religious public debates with evangelical Christians, as well as video lectures, most of which centred on Islam, Christianity and the Bible. He also established the IPCI, an international Islamic missionary organisation, and wrote several booklets on Islam and Christianity which were widely distributed by the organisation. He was awarded the prestigious King Faisal International Prize in 1986 for his 50 years of missionary work. He used English to get his message across to Muslims and non-Muslims in the western world.

What lots of people (even pastors) don't (yet) understand. God created us according to His own image and likeness. Godly. Mankind/the first Adam fell. The image of God in man got lost. That's why there is all this predicament on earth (selfishness, greed, lust, wars, sicknesses, death, etc). We are all born into that mess. For the fall of man a perfect atoning sacrifice had to be made.... that is what God did in Christ. With His own once and for all perefect sacrifice, He paid the debt for the fall of man for us, so we can be indwelled by His Spirit again and finally receive the divine life of the ages back, the first Adam let got of in the fall of man. An amazing act of grace and love by our creator. That is what you see happening in Christ's first disciples. They too healed all and walked in unselfish love. And yes.... that is still avaible today. The holy blood is in place, the Holy Spirit is here to give us understanding, power and transform us back to origin. Not to be debated about, but to be embraced and be-come. So: The Kingdom of God already came. Through Christ, in Spiritform, in those that understand. Hence the divine healing miracles we experience. God manifested in Christ to give us back the divine life mankind lost in the fall of Adam. Christ, the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after in Gen 1. The image we lost in the fall of man. The image that can be freely restored by Christ's blood and Holy Spirit working IN us. What a plan. What a solution. What a love. What a God. Jesus is amazing. It is the ultimate conclusion of the word and plan of God. God came full circle. He Himself stooped down from glory to restore us back to original created value: Christlikeness. Walking in divine healing power and unselfish love. Jesus, born of the Spirit of God, filled with the spirit of God. The "Son" of God, the incarnated word, God in the flesh. For three years He healed all, raised the dead, casted out demons, controlled nature, spoke pure divine truth. He said: "Follow Me. If you see Me, you see the Father. The Father and I are one. The glory I have IN My Father, I give to you. It pleases the Father to give you His Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature. I will send Holy Spirit, the same as Me, He will be IN you, guide you into truth and give you explosive power. The same miracles i do, you will do too, because you will understand that the Father is IN Me and I am IN you. Freely I give you My Kingdom/Holy Spirit/divine nature, heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, freely I give, freely share" Etc, etc, etc. I have experienced thousands of beautifull healing miracles through the power of Holy Spirit IN me already. Broken bones, cancers, covid, all kinds of infirmities healed in seconds. Demons manifesting and casted out by a simple "get out, in Jesus name". Jesus. De name above all names. In Him all power and wisdom is sourced and.... He calls us one with Him. God in man and man in God again. C'mon Jesus!! So.... again: God stooped down IN Christ to restore us back to Gen 1:27 were He said: "Let us make man according to our image and likeness and let them have authority.....": walk as Christ. Christ, the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after and being restored to by His atoning blood for the fall of man and indwelling Holy Spirit. You are free to receive this original divine life of the ages by Holy Spirit of Christ/God. Ask Him to guide you into truth. Read the Gospel of John and fall in love with your creator. You are not made for the fall of man and its effects, but for the image/glory of God and to walk like Christ. Holy Spirit is the guide and transforming power that will get you there. Amazing grace. A big leap in faith can be made when we start realizing we are already IN Christ, IN the last Adam. Free from the fall! Loved! Growing into awareness of our new (yet old) godly identity. Changing by Holy Spirit. The most fullfilled life ever. Paul healed all on Malta. He understood and wrote: "As in the first Adam ALL died (lost the divine nature), so also ALL were made alive IN Christ to walk in Zoë (= divine life) again". "IN Christ (the last Adam) we are co-cruisified (dead to the fall and its effects), co-raised (justified/made righteousness, holy, blameless, above reproach), co-seated (one with Him)" "The fullness of deity dwells in Christ and YOU HAVE BEEN MADE COMPLETE IN HIM, who is the head of every principality and power". So.... thank you Jesus! Thank you for redeeming me from the fall of man. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that makes this new (yet old) divine life come alive in me. You are amazing! In the shadow of Peter the sick healed... He understood too and wrote: "By Gods power (Holy Spirit) and knowing Christ, we have become partakers of the divine nature and have escaped the fall of man". The divine life of the ages has been returned to us by Jesus once and for all perfect atoning sacrifice for the debt of the fall of man and His indwelling Holy Spirit in us. Jesus/God is amazing!!! Ask Him to give you revelation and change you to the way it was before the fall of man: Christlikeness. He will do so. For it is written: "the Spirit brings forth after His own kind". "I have come to give you Zoë (divine life) in abundance...." Yay!

@birnie weather i dont have the full answer to your question but here u can refer Quran (2:79) So woe to those who write the Book with their hands, then say, 'This is from God,' that they may sell it for a little price; so woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for their earnings... (2:79) says about how the previous scriptures is corrupted by the hands of people and making confusion in the scriptures (god have son, with 3 in 1, and sometimes replace mother mary with the holy spirit etc).. also regarding on your comments for (5:68) it tells about the people of that time in Moses,David,Jesus which they believe in Allah which was the book in is original form will get their reward because they do not mistake about God having a son or make any association on him.. it says after that verse (5:69)Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.. no harm or offense in my replies.. may it be fruitful..

@birnie weather yes, Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) never broke one of the law, and he is not from the people of israelite but doesn't mean he is not a prophet ,he was send for the whole mankind,this also shown as a sign and a test from Allah to the people to believe he is the final messenger (41:44) "And if We had made it a non-Arabic Qur'an, they would have said, "Why are its verses not explained in detail [in our language]? Let the people of Sela sing for joy; let them shout from the mountaintops. 12 Let them give glory to the Lord and proclaim his praise in the islands. 13 The Lord will march out like a champion, like a warrior he will stir up his zeal; with a shout he will raise the battle cry and will triumph over his enemies. it talks about a new song (new LAW), which is similar Law in the Torah and Injil but is abrogaded and lifted in the Quran example (believe in One God) , do charity , respect parents... also the settlement of Kedar rejoice is actually located in Arabia and Sela was in area of Madinah .. also Kedar is a direct ancestors of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).. no other prophets except Muhammad(pbuh) which had perfectly been prophesied as the one who accurately been pictured in that verse..and it is written in Bible and im pretty sure God let the remnants of truth in there so the people will find the truth where it is Islam(submit to one God).

@birnie weather stoning is actually also mentioned in the quran.. and as i stated before, the quran abrogated the law not 100% the same like in the current torah. By us following shows how we obediently obey his command but God is all merciful and wise he knows for giving that punishment like stoning and other punishment is a warner for us so we would stay away from doing it .. I respect this man a lot. I wish he would have accepted Jesus Christ before he died. but there is so much deception in the NIVS. standard versions. KJV only is where you are gonna get as accurate as you can with the language of the prophets. By creating the world and by upholding all things, He is constantly ministering to others. “He make His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and send rain on the just and the unjust. Mat 5:45 This ideal of ministry God has committed to His Son. Jesus was to stand at the head of humanity, that by His example He might teach what it means to ministry. His whole life was under a law of service. He served all, ministered to all. Thus He lived the law of God, and by His exampled showed how we are to obey it.

+pathfinder your understanding of the Quran is deficient. None of the terms or titles attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in Quran are suggestive of divinity or a status above that of a prophet. He is respected, revered and given a very high position in Islam, being born to one of the, if not the most, saintly woman in history (Mary). However no terms or even him being a word from God suggest divinity.

So: The Kingdom of God already came. Through Christ, in Spiritform, in those that understand. Hence the divine healing miracles we experience. God manifested in Christ to give us back the divine life mankind lost in the fall of Adam. Christ, the exact image of the invisible God. The image we were created after in Gen 1. The image we lost in the fall of man. The image that can be freely restored by Christ's blood and Holy Spirit working IN us. What a plan. What a solution. What a love. What a God. Jesus is amazing. It is the ultimate conclusion of the word and plan of God. God came full circle. He Himself stooped down from glory to restore us back to original created value: Christlikeness. Just because Mission of Jesus Peace be upon him was finished that does not mean GOD is done with human kind!!! Where in the Bible GOD says that HE is done with humanity? There are so many many new issues.

in the bible it clearly states that god has sent jesus, doesnt that literally mean that he is a messenger? just the fact that he said he was sent from God shows you that jesus is a much lesser being and is actually considered as some sort of MESSENGER to pass Gods word to the people, if only their was a religion that literally said jesus was a messenger of God .........

But he was betrayed...and then forsaken.Was it part of the job that he finished,or was he finished. In short as per Christianity 1+1+1=1 1 is father of 1self and son of oneself and oneself. Almighty got whipped by his creation,humiliated,betrayed,tortured,stripped and put on a cross and stabbed to death all the while praying to himself for forsaking himself. I'm too late to this thread..when first time jesus said it was finished it was regarding his duty with jews. He would teach them they would deny him. The second time jesus said that was when he cleared the penalty of sins of all mankind. Deedat really need to differentiate between these two as these were talked in two different situations. Then he said getting to know the one true god and jesus whom he sent is the eternal life. But he highlighted 'one true god' but not 'jesus whom he sent'. Moses was sent by god so did isaiah jeremiah zechariah John the Baptist...and numerous others..no one ever claimed this authority. Jesus didn't commonly said know the prophets whom you sent is eternal life. ONLY HIM. Then he attempts to degrade the bible what muslims will do as usual. They changed the word finished..they corrupted them..but they can't add one verse where jesus was to be told I'm god? I mean the bible editors are such a stupid?

Christianity needs another bible version to meet the needs of today everytime. While Quran has it all and will remain unchanged till the day of Judgement . Fear that day 😦

The Koran says that Christians didn't understand the Bible because Christians have deified Christ or if you read the Bible. The King James Bible is not important for most Christians. The translations are not very good. It comes from the Anglican Church of GB. We Catholics have other translations. My reference is the Latin Bible published on WWW too, called Vulgata.
